This rewatch is particularly fun. So, I'm enjoying all the good points. I can't wait to get to when Michel rolls Davy under the bed. I know that sounds horrible. But it's such a sweet episode. I'm on season 2, so I have a ways to go.

Yes, and I'm trying to remember his name in that episode, because it wasn't Kirk. I wonder when he became Kirk. And in season 2 they acknowledge that he literally is still the every man job guy. Haha. Installing DSL, renting movies out to an annoying Lorelai, lol.

Here's something I found when I googled all of Sean Gunn's characters on GG -

Kirk wasn't always Kirk. That's right, folks, Sean Gunn first played the role of Mick in Season 1, Episode 2. Mick was Lorelai's DSL installer, and he was much grumpier and to the point than Kirk. It's a good thing Mick didn't stick around because weirdo Kirk is the absolute best. In Season 1, Episode 3, Gunn was credited as just the "Swan Guy" for delivering a bunch of swans to The Independence Inn. How aptly titled, right?
