Fred Pryce Thanks for bringing the thread back up to the first page and I totally agree! They had some amazing moments in the first 2 seasons, all of there scenes are amazing but it's cool to see there relationship before it matured and changed.

I've been rewatching S4 and oh how I love that season!

Just watched 'The Incredible Shrinking Lorelais' and even though they have no scenes, it's really sweet to see them trying so hard to get ahold of eachother and feeling lost and overwhelmed cause they can't talk to eachother. Then them breaking down at the end cause of it. Really showed how they are pretty much the glue that keep eachother together! I watched 'Scene In A Mall' today, funny them trying to window shop.

Aww and the line in the cafateria.

Rory: What'd I miss?
Emily: I was just admiring your mother's life.
Rory: Oh, I do that daily.

I just remembered an author on fanfiction.net that wrote some really good Lorelai and Rory fics. Most of the Gilmore Girls fics she wrote were about the 2 of them and they were pretty well written. The only problem is that (IMO) she left you wanting more but all her fics were either oneshots, really short, or not finished so...

Bringing back to page 1 again.

One of my favorites episodes with them are the one from the dance marathon. Rory trying to kick Lorelai when they faint in the floor always cracks me up.

Aw I love that episode! and that scene

I also love the morning after the dance marathon when they're walking to Luke's. All their confusing talk is so hilarious

[they stare at the diner]

RORY: I don’t think it’s working.

LORELAI: It’s my fault, I’m not focusing.

RORY: Yes, that must be why we can’t move a half a city block closer to us.

LORELAI: All right then, let’s go. On the count of three.

[Neither of them move]

I love that episode, it is one of my faves (despite my hate for Jess) of S3 because of them! My fave part is when they first get started dancing! They were shockingly good for a couple of girls who only had a few minutes of practice in between takes! Really love the move they did where Lorelai spun Rory to her and then Lorelai sort of pulled her down on her hip and spun her out again. That was adorable! I am so glad Rory was her dance partner instead of the other guy she almost got. It was unique too, a mother and daughter dancing instead of a man and women. They probably turned some heads!

Every one of their scenes had me in hysterics. Rory trying to kick Lorelai, them doing the runaround and Rory telling her off for it and during it!

Rory: I need to interject for one second to tell you that I hate you!
Lorelai: Thanks, honey.

Rory: I think I’m going to die.
Lorelai: Me first.
Rory: How much longer?
Lorelai: I don’t know. I just know that every year I block this part out.
Rory: From now on I’m going to remind you of it.

Lorelai: This is fun, huh?
Rory: Uh huh, big fun.

Oh and this part cracks me and my sister up SO hard!

Lorelai: [Lorelai starts to nod off and then quickly wakes herself up] Tell me a joke.
Rory: Knock knock.
Lorelai: [giggles] Good one.

SO many great scenes in that episode!

ETA: Luisa I looove that scene too! So funny!

You know what makes me sad? We have some great Lorelai & Rory off-screen scenes and never got the chance to watch. Like their trip to Atlantic City or their trip backpacking on Europe.

That would be great scenes between them !!!!

Totally agree! It so sucks that they don't show scenes like that!

The one I was reeeeeallly ticked off they cut though was the movie night after they made up!

I could not believe they didn't show it!!! After 2 months (our time) and 9 episodes of having nothing but them fighting, we deserved more then a hug!! I wanted to see them hang out and talk and Lorelai show Rory the house and show her that she kept Rory's room the same! Oh well!

Made 2 banners, posted them over at the fanart thread but thought I would post them here as well

I was thinking of making a header out of one, if not both, of them but I don't really know what I would use them for. So if you guys like, do you want me to make another header for this thread? They would look like these but header size and have different text on it. Could replace the header we have already or something. I don't know, just a thought, totally up to you guys! Just bored and creative right now.
