But agreed! They simply just challenge each other and interest each other. They are on the same level of thinking but at the same time so different - so they can easily communicate, and learn from one another.

I Just watched "Dead Uncles and Vegetables" today on TV. I love their scenes in that episode.

Jess: I'll be down in a minute.
Rory: No, now.
Jess: I'm in the middle of something!
Rory: Just assume that Jeannie's gonna get Major Healey out of whatever scrape he's in.
Jess: Gee, thanks for spoiling it for me
