It just does make sense for the L/L to spark off R/J again, especially given the parallels between the two couples. And the fact that their first kiss was at a wedding.

Obviously all of us think they had true love

They got each other, they were so different but so alike at the same time, if that makes sense, while they had a lot of things in common, and not just books, also music, movies, their family background was kind of similar too, they both, practically, grew up without a father, and most important, their love for each other was unconditional; but they were yet so different, rory was the 'good girl' everyone in town loved her, while Jess wasn't willing to please anyone just so people liked him. They always believed in each other, and wanted the best for one another. Jess might have done a lot of mistakes, but so did rory, he grew up and is much more estable now, wich is what rory needs IMO, he never put her up in a pedestal or thought she was perfect, he accepted her for who she was, with her flaws and everything. They didn't get the right timing, they needed to grow up.

I agree absolutely Fer (surprise, surprise, lol), but especially with this:

It seemed to me that a lot of other people expected Rory to be perfect, and when she messed up, they turned on her and just got angry, Jess knew that she wasn't perfect and so didn't expect her to be. I think he had a deeper understanding of her than most people, certainly, in my opinion, her other boyfriends.

I agree with you guys too!

The only time Jess wanted to change her was in the sixth season when she lost sight of herself. He understood her and all the things that made her who she was, and it was clear that he appreciated them.

Exactly

everyone had so many expectations, and she felt like she had to live up to their expectations. But not with Jess, he knew her, he knew she wasn't perfect and simply expected Rory to be herself.
