I did listen to another podcast where they talked pop culture references during that scene but this was nice to listen to as well

I'm watching Rory try to shove Jess out of her house with Paris still in there, because she's afraid of what Dean's going to do. I miss Jess already, and he's not even gone yet. He really grew. And this possessiveness of Dean, is not a good look. Although, I kind of want to give Supernatural another try.
God, this is such a nightmare. He's just screaming in her face. Ugh, Please. Someone Kill. Dean. off. He could get crushed by an avalanche of cereal boxes, at Doose's, in another revival. Milo and Alexis need to do a kitschy Jess and Rory sitcom, with Luke and Lorelai playing Mr. and Mrs. Roper. __________________

Yep Dean was scary, and it’s very telling that Paris felt she had to jump in and lie to calm him down. It is a favourite ep of mine though.

Watching the episode where Rory agrees to tutor Jess and Lorelai is trying really hard to get her out of it. I don't understand how she always saw Dean as the perfect boyfriend, and Jess as the bad guy. It seemed like Dean, not only had a motorcycle and a leather jacket, but he also was not very feminist-forward. He crowded Rory all the time. Called her constantly or tried to manipulate a situation so he'd be there, and she just saw it as sweet, endearing Dean in love with her magical siren of a daughter. Jess, rightfully lashes out at her, okay, maybe not rightfully, but given how she kind of had a chip on her shoulder about "understanding Jess", and didn't think ambushing an unwanted kid with food and Sookie and Jackson wouldn't turn out the way it did, and she kind of blames him for that surly first encounter, even though he's nice to her daughter, and not only that, he treats her with respect. I would need more than ten fingers and ten toes to count all the times Dean has been disrespectful to Rory.
Given that Lorelai is known for being this independent, commitment-phobe, runaway bride, you'd think she'd be a little skeptical over the dude smothering her daughter like crazy. Her "amazing kid" of a daughter. Team Jess forever. Edit: Ugh. Lorelai is making a big deal out of Rory wanting to lie to Dean for Jess. She's more mad at Rory for the lying, then, at Dean, for there be a reason to lie. She literally said, "Well, if it'll be weird, then is this a good idea?" Why would it be weird? Um, 'cause dean is a psychopathically obsessed with Rory???? Okay. Calm down, Jess. It's just a TV show. Why did Milo have to go and get famous? Jess and Rory forever. Oh, shoot. This is the one with the accident, isn't it? Skipping ahead. __________________

love how everything in my profile is Literati themed rn  got the new custom title yesterday it’s from Teach Me Tonight we Lit fans love how Milo has consistently said that he enjoyed filming that episode with Alexis I hope you didn’t skip the end of the episode though (good stuff) thoughts on the tutoring/car ride scenes?
