This is a thread that was started on the night of last season's finale. Some of us posters here used to be Narcos and some weren't, but we all have one thing in common now....our unappreciation for Rory/Dean as a couple. If you are a fan of this couple, please don't post here, because you won't like a lot of what we will be saying.

This is not a thread to bash Alexis Bledel or Jared Padalecki. We reserve our loathing for Rory and Dean, the Cheaters of Stars Hollow. Also, please do not bash any of your fellow posters. Let's be kind as we vent about our disdain for this couple.

Reasons Why We Loathe Dean/Rory:

1. Because Dean did cheat and Rory was cheating with him.
2. Because they have no morals.
3. Because they're adulterers.
4. Because they make us nauseated.
5. Because they make us hurl.
6. Because they ruined Lorelai's big night at the inn and with Luke.
7. Because Lorelai did not raise Rory "to be the kind of girl who sleeps with someone else's husband."
8. Because it's all about ratings, and not the storytelling.
9. Because Lorelai was so disappointed.
10. Because Rory used to be a role model.
11. Because Lindsey is innocent in this whole mess.
12. Because Dean married Lindsey knowing that he still loved Rory.
13. Because they're still sneaking around.
14. Because they met in a dark alley after Lindsey asked her husband not to speak to Rory again.
15. Because Rory essentially blamed Lorelai by bringing up Christopher.
16. Because he took off his wedding ring before they had sex.
17. Because he has his wedding ring on while he's about to kiss Rory.
18. Because Rory rejected him and now she thinks she owns him.
19. Because from the beginning, Emily was right about Dean/Rory.
20. Because Lorelai trusted Dean.
21. Because Lorelai trusted her daughter.
22. Because Lorelai is a great mother and she doesn't deserve this.
23. Because this atrocious storyline has distorted the original concept of the show.
24. Because Rory and Dean are both hypocrites.
25. Because Lorelai's dreams were finally coming true, and now she has to deal with her daughter's adultery.
26. Because for some of us, this "storyline" has ruined season 1 D/R.
27. Because we want Lorelai to get out the dull hedge clippers.
28. Because nothing good can come out of this affair.
29. Because Lorelai understands the situation perfectly and so do we.
30. Because he's not "Rory's Dean"; he's "Lindsey's Dean".
31. Because Rory is the Other Woman..
32. Because they suck and so does this storyline.
33. Because this couple had closure back in season 3.
