Yay for rewatching the series! I loved that episode and Tristan's character was growing on me. It's too bad he left the show because there was so much potential with his SL at that point. Ugh, season 7 was so frustrating for me as a LL fan but it was nice to see them gravitate back towards each other. Their connection was just too strong to deny. I always wished they would've pursued the LC SL in season 3.

thanks. I watch a rerun whenever I am home. That episode was hilarious and the actor who played Wilden on Pretty Little Liars was cute with Lorelai. He didn't seem much younger to me. When his parents showed up at the diner and Rory was teasing Lorelai, I cracked up so hard. CMM was hilarious and I was so disappointed when he left. I can see your point of view. I think the writers did a good job of showing that Lorelai's heart was with Luke even when she married Chris. Luke still loved her too. I don't understand why April gets a bad rap. VM did a good job with that. I guess maybe it's because of Luke finding out about April and not telling Lorelai. I like how the writers kept Rory and Logan together most of the season and without any third parties in season 7

Some fans hate April because ASP used her to drive LL apart. But it was just another obstacle. I never hated the character.

Yep, I don't see any other reason to hate her character. It wasn't her fault Luke made a mistake and chose to conceal her from Lorelai.

What were the haters' arguments? I liked her flaws as well. They definitely came off to me as more relatable.

just that she is an ungrateful entitled bratt who wasted all of her education. I wasn't big on the crass revival jokes about minorities or even millenials, but I liked that they had her struggling a bit.

Sometimes she can act entitled, but I wouldn't say she always acts that way. We, as humans, have moments of weakness. If we characterize a person by their weaknesses then we ignore their inherent goodness. Anyway, I think it's way too easy for people to criticize every little thing rather than recognize the positive aspects. I'd much rather see a heroine struggle than have everything handed to her on a silver platter.

Didn't watch this series on Netflix but I recently noticed it on Comcast OnDemand and was thrilled to finally get to see it. It was great to see the whole cast of characters come back although I would have liked to see more Sookie To finally see Lorelai and Luke tie the knot with that beautiful song playing in the background was so great. I also enjoyed Emily's transformation finally in the end too. I think the cliffhanger with Rory telling Lorelai she is pregnant is really leaving the door open to another season. Really hope it happens, still watch all 7 seasons from time to time, love this show
