That's an insane price for the Jeep, in my opinion. I know it's a collectable and was driven by Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel, but new Jeeps start out at $19,200. Personally, I think the auction should be for charity and not a private auction.

It would be interesting if Lauren or even Amy Sherman-Palladino bought the Jeep and re-auctioned it off for a charity. Like for John Hopkins Childrens Hospital since Scott Patterson is so close to that, or to the National Breast Cancer Coalition because I believe Lauren was close to that charity as well. Better things could be done with the money, I think.

However when S6 started airing here, the first two eps were shown in cinema - sadly I knew about that last minute and had no time to go...
