Thanks for the new thread.

Im really excited to read what Ausiello has to report from ASP and the crew. I think it would be a great idea to get everyone together for a movie to really give it an even better ending. I think if we remind Ausiello enough, he could push ASP to maybe write a script.

Oh man I might actually be able to watcha new storyline from GG. How exciting

But I don't want to get my hopes up too high. I already did this with s8 and we all know what happpended.

I think that if we the fans don't write in, call, email or whatever to all the people involved, including ASP and Peter Roth (head of WB studios) and the actors, then this new hope of getting something extra, be it a TV movie, mini series or partial season, won't materialize.
We need to keep active and vocal to help them all see it's a worthy endeavor, that there are multitudes of fans out there still routing for more GG.

I still don't trust ASP. Not to mention the fact that reunion movies are usually REALLY REALLY REALLY...not good.

Well, I still believe that Gilmore Girls even at its worst, was still much better than most other shows, so its reunion movie would at the most only be "not good", and not "really really really not good".
I for one, want this or any other form of extra GG time.
The finale was far from "good" or satisfying to me as a series ending.

To be honest I don't care if its bad. At least it's something. And in my world anything Gilmore we could get I'll take it. Heck I want it! If you have bad experiences with reunion stuff... you don't have to watch. Thats the trick. If ASP is being truthful I would LOVE for her to write a movie. She could get it right and that would be the only chance of getting the actors back I think. And it sounds like it from that MA bit too.

I'm with gjoni. I wasn't happy with the ending so I'll love for them to have the chance to finish things. That said, I am glad it didn't end like another show that GG was paired with this season

You know.. I don't actually. I think there is no chance in h*** that ASP would do that. Well, we'll just have to also campaign to get DS tied up with lots of projects for the next two years, or until this movie or any other GG sequel/reunion is made, lol.

Oh I agree that bringing him back would make even less sense now that it ever has(JMO, everyone). I just have a hard time trusting her after season 6.

See I don't. But then I never hated her for what she did in S6. I absolutely didn't enjoy it and thought it was bad plotlines but she still created the show and the characters. She is the only one who could make the "movie" feel like Gilmore in my opinion. I always said that if she was to come back and do it I would be all for it. DR on the other hand? not so much. I would still watch of course. lol

Urg! I can't believe that woman First she writes the show into that pile of crap then takes off because she didn't get what her Highness wanted and now she wants to come back and be the big hero again
Don't get me wrong a movie would be perfect or a miniseries or just a couple of episodes but under Amy. Not after season 6
