Well the TV movie news is the reason why she didn't give up those last 4 words.

I wouldn't mind April in the movie, maybe staying in Rory's room on the extra bed, 'cause we know Rory would be coing back to visit. Maybe we'll get a "family" breakfast with the 4 of them and Luke cooking.

If she's serious however I would like to see a GG movie and get some more closure for the characters.
And the last four words, I don't care anymore, I would be interested to hear something about the famous doll house why it's so important to Emily and Lorelai and finally see what Emily wanted to give Lorelai as a wedding presents for Max and now maybe for her wedding with Luke. But only if Amy doesn't mess up again and LL break up again and I would like to have Logan back for Rory and of course some nice E/R moments as well.

My question: what wiith ASP's rights? She excluded herself last year, and the next showrunner continued and had a contract. I'm not sure, it's so easy to make a movie with the same actors as a kind of sequel, because maybe it's DR who has something to say also?

i think that ASP did want to say those four words after the series ends, but because she is considering about the movie, so i don't think she's going to say those 4 words then, if not i don't think anyone would go to watch the movie if the four words were to be told already...

I would like to know them before I see the film, to prevent disappointment. And I don't think the last four words are any longer really important to the show or film.
What's done is done. The SLs went ahead without Amy's input so maybe she just makes some new "last four words" up in her mind. Wasn't it at first only the "last two words" of the show anyway and then Amy suddenly said it was actually the "last four"?
Amy wants attention and that's something she's getting plenty of right now.
Amy was the first one to mess up GG, then she lost and had to go and DR was the new man in town. Though he messed up even more. So why bring Amy back? Third time is the charm...? I doubt it.

And wasn't Amy the one letting Emily say: "When a woman gives birth to a crack baby you do not buy her a puppy."

I don't know who is still interested in the who to blame game but there is some more "information". Doesn't really surprise me since we heard about Alexis reluctance to return from the beginning.

Hi guys. I recently got back from New York and something quite interesting happened while I was there. I was on the subway heading back from Times Square and a guy in a suit carrying a big CW bag full of CW memorabilia got on and stood next to me. I couldn't help myself, of course, and asked him if he worked for the CW. He did, so I asked him if he knew about GG ending. Again, he did, so I asked him if he could tell me any info about the final negotiations that the public probably wouldn't know. I asked, basically, if it was the CW or the girls who finally ended the negotiations. He said, "it was the girls, the younger one."[]click[/url]

I've heard a disappointment in what LG said earlier about the series end, so it's not a surprise for me. I expected it's AB. I wish her luck as a person, but I don't think she can start a career as an actor now. That's my opinion, but she's not talented enough to make the next step, to develope as an actress.
Her decision destroyed hopes of many people, and brought an unsatysfying ending of the entire show. Because she got bored. Sad!

Thanks for that and after seeing Letterman I would tend to agree, they pushed the CW knowing they would never agree to just 8 eps (what network would) so maybe AB never really wanted back for a long time. I just wish she had been more upfront to give DSR a chance to write a more fulfilling ending for all the fans.

I hope they work out something for a movie to better end things.

AB said from the beginning on she wanted it to end with S7. DR was stupid not to plan it as last season, when all the contracts ended and one lead made it clear she didn't want to return.
