I don't know why, but I don't like ASP's idea. I'm asking me a question - what's the reason of her sudden declaration? I think, the only satysfying ending of GG is for Amy Chris-Lorelai ending. I can assume, that she doesn't like the ending DR gave us in 7.22, but her point of view is different from our point of view. We wanted more Luke&Lorelai, she probably thinks, it was too much.

No no no ..Unless she has a death wish, the reason she wants to do a movie it's to fix LL's relationship and E/L/R relationship, too, because for me and a lot of people that was not an end!

Sorry but everyone saw the ratings crash in the 2nd half of season 6, along with Luke and Lorelai's relationship and it didn't recover this season. Sorry Chris fans but it would be ratings suicide to have a TV movie just for Amy to break them up again and bring back Chris.

I don't trust that woman. Not after what she did all season 6 long. Flat out lied to everyone and after Parings I don't believe anything that crawls out under that freaking hat of hers. If she was so pro LL she wouldn't have twisted and turned the characters so she could throw Partings at us.

The four last words would have been "Luke please, please, please !" from Lorelai begging for coffee because Luke doesn't want to pour her mug with 'cause she's pregnant !

And if ASP wants to do the Gilmore girls tv movie just to give these four last live on tv screen and with doing that be a real control freak so be it because it worths it !

It was just at the very beginning. She said that it was time to move on. She had been on it most of her adult life and wanted to do something else. She liked the way it ended. But she sort of hestitated--maybe that's not the right word--at that part.

Or begging for something else

IMO the reason Amy kept quite was it would be inappropriate for her to say something before the end of the season/series, I think she's probably been working on ideas for the last year.
