It sounds like ASP did give MA her last four words - right? Or, what does he mean when he said "this is why I can't tell you" - if he's not referring to the four words, what is he referring to in the following bit:

MA: Yes. Actually I didn’t ask her about it. I asked her for the four words , that she promised me.
D: Right and then in that conversation that is when she told you
MA: This is why I can’t tell you.

I think it's MA cutting off Dan (".... that is when she told you ...), continuing by quoting what ASP told him: "This is why I can't tell you (those last words, Mike, because I'm saving it for my GG reunion movie)".

That's how I understood it, not that Ausiello was telling Dan that he can't tell or shouldn't have told Dan those last words.

I agree gjoni - ASP didn't tell MA those words, because she might do the movie some time so she can't give them away.

Who knows if those 4 words really exist. It's like searching for the Holy Grail That statement is out there and every time they talk about it will come up. I don't think they exist.

For me it's not at all about hearing any specific last words or not, but rather seeing where the characters and stories were destined to still go and end, and I have no doubt that 7.22 was not it.

ITA. It would be nice to hear the last words, but that is the least important thing for me regarding the movie ..I want Amy to tie the lose ends .. and to see her original plan to end the show, although I think it would have to be different since S7 happened.

for me, same as you guys what you wrote, but just one more thing to add is that i would love to see how the original series creator would end the series. Since AS-P was the one who started the whole series, she should be the one who should have ended the series!

That is what it was Dan started his sentence and Mike finished it.
ASP told Mike she could NOT tell him, because she wants to do a GG (tv) movie, and use those last 4 words.

It seems to me that Lauren and Alexis are at peace with the show. I have doubts that they'd come back for a t.v. movie. Unless it was worth the money or something I just think they're happy to move on to other things and leave what was a GREAT show behind. Alexis' said it was time and lauren said it was time so I think if they feel that it was the right time to end it we should be satisfied as well. I too am a little weary about the so called 4 last words but who really knows what ASP has up her sleeve anymore.
