I decided to listen to TVGuide's podcast for their takes on the strike and they just had to bring up GG.

MA said that he did ask ASP about the final four words when he talked her her on the picket line and that he'll put her response in next week's vodcast.

Cappuccino- Thanks for those pics of Lauren at the Young Frankenstein premiere!!!!!!! Lauren looks lovely. I had no idea they were making a musical version of Young Frankenstein. That is totally awesome. My mum and sister are crazy over the movie!!!!!!! Great to see Lauren is a Mel Brooks fan!!!!!!

actually I don't want her to say it, it's part of a mistery, once it's out I think everyone will e disapointed, it had grown into something special, and I think that whatever everyone though it won't fullfill whishes of so many, so better o leave it un-answered..

I agree. No matter how great the last four words can be, after being so talked about, they will for sure disappoint many people: or because they had already suggested that those could be the words and so the surprise is not there anymore, or because they're expecting something huge, and it's only a Lorelai's random reference or a simple ILY between mother and daughter, which is not something new.
But of course, I'd like if those words were in the movie, but I'd be ok if I never knew which words were.

I agree.
I don't really care about the last four words (didn't it used to be 'last two words'?) - I care about the last four hours/real episodes of GG much, much more.

BTW, from Jane Espenson's blog:

...Tuesday is "cast day," when stars of the various shows are being encouraged to join us on the line...

So, an opportunity for fans around the States (mainly LA and NYC, I guess) to come out to support the writers AND possibly get some star gazing/grazing moments at the same time!

It's nice to see that the stars are encouraging and supporting the writers. Most of them have the time for that now anyway but it's good that they stand together
