Well I didn't mind them together, much better than Dean!

But now there are things working against them, Milo is busy on Heroes, he may not want to work with his ex and as I said having then together and cousins is a little weird.

But this would be null and void if Alexis doesn't want to do the movie!

Did Rory have any relationship that didn't end in tears?

I think that AB should be in the movie for it to feel like real GG. I would really like if she was in, because even though I don't care that much about her SL and also I think that she was the only one with closure, I like the Lorelai/Rory relationship and those FND with the whole family. However if it's in between a movie without AB and no movie at all, I would without a doubt pick the first option. A movie focused on LL and ER and EL, and a few phone calls from Rory. It wouldn't be the perfect scenario for me, because Rory is part of GG and for it to feel like GG she should be in, even if I usually fast forward through her scenes in my marathons. But if that's the only way it could be done, I'm the first to say "hell, yeah". It's not the perfect scenario, but it's a great one for me. However, I don't think that would ever happened. For the same reason a season 8 without Rory wasn't done, I doubt a movie without her would be. Lauren wouldn't want to do a movie without Rory, and I completely understand that, since the show is supposed to be about their relationship. And also I don't know if ASP or the studio would want that either. So, I just wish AB would make up her mind already, before everyone backs out because of her once again (It's not that I blame her for the cancellation of the show, but I think at first she was the main reason. She had her reasons for not wanting to continue, so I don't want to blame her... anyway, that' not the point now.). Till now, everyone from the cast seems to be on board, or at least, no one has said otherwise or anything against it. So, I would really hate if the movie didn't happen because AB didn't want to do it, leading everyone to back out, when they all seem open to the idea. I understand she didn't want to do a new season, but now it's just a movie. It will not have the same busy schedule and it will be over soon. If she didn't want to act anymore, I would get that too, but that's not the case apparently, since she said she had been going to auditions. If there's more people from the cast who don't want to do it, well then there's nothing we can do, but I would hate to think everybody, but AB, was in and that was the reason the movie didn't happen.

Perfect solution - Lorelai had twins: a boy and a girl. That way we still have the Gilmore girls and we can see how Lorelai handles kids when she isn't one herself anymore

I would watch it without AB but I still want her to do it. It wouldn't be the same if she wasen't in it.

I think if AB isn't in for a movie, that it's not going to happen. And that wouldn't be Gilmore Girls if you ask me if Rory wasn't in it.

I would thing a TV movie would take longer than 16 days to shoot, it's more involved that just 2 hours of a regular series, but I'm not in the industry so maybe I'm wrong.

Does anyone know how long the average 2 hour TV movie takes to shoot?

I'd tend to agree if Rory is not in it or in it enough then it probably will not be done, I just wish she would say something if she cares about the fans.

Sorry about what I said about R/J I know some people on this thread like them I should just keep my opinions in the anti thread. Just my hatred for the guy has escalated blame it on me writing a fic and I had to include him for 12 chapters to be realistic. Just MA makes me mad some times.

why would it be any different than 2 episodes?

Well first they need to get back into the swing of things, also a TV Movie depending on the story would take longer to shoot as there could be more scenes or more complex ones, then there is the question of when people are available to shoot, so it could just take longer than 2 normal eps IMO, but if someone can clarify what they normally do then go ahead.
