dirty twin, forget about the last half of season six and most of season seven, but watch episode 19 from season seven... It's just like riding a bike... very GG and LL, Sookie/Jackson and Paris...the rest of the season is blah... imo.
this is what I did actually, this is all I was able to see and of course one scene of half naked Luke

I agree, the episode was really focused on Rory too much. We really should have had more focus on the LL stuff because the 5 second kiss just wasn't enough. But I sort of understand Lorelai's actions. This was the furthest away Rory was going to be from her since forever. Before they were still in the same state, not even five hours away from each other but now they were going to be in different time zones (I think, I don't have a map on me). They weren't going to be as close as they were before, physically and emotionally, her daughter was finally grown up and was leaving her to live a different life that didn't include her as much as it had in the past.

Aaand once again we get 10 seconds of L/L kiss... Luke that been in the show for all seven seasons and yet we got 13 episodes of of L/C bonding... never mind Rory didn't count.

Oh God... sorry about the bitterness. I thought it had gone.

P.S. dirty twin, I see you like Dr. Who..
Well the show started with Rory going to Chiltion so I understand the big ending for her, but I do agree they could have cut back of some things *cough*to much lane*cough* for a little more time for the 2nd most important relationship on the show, Luke and Lorelai.

Yes I'm a HUGE L&L fan but I can admit the most important relationship was the girls.

We did joke at the start of S7 that L&L would come together in the last 5 minutes, how right we were!

BTW - I love Dr Who as well!

I totally think that the series finale should be, in fact, about the girls. I think the way they were in the finale was great. However, the writers did it all wrong when it came to other relationships which were equally important to the show. They should have fixed them sooner, to leave space for the girls in the finale. And if that wasn't possible, because they had already screwed up too much, they should have cut back in some other scenes in the finale (Lane scene, as Craig said), to focus on more important relationships(LL and EL). I think the amount of L/R was good and understandable, the other not so important relationships were the ones who got too much focus, which left us all bitter and unsatisfied about the finale as whole, even if most of us agree that the girls should have been the main focus.

Facintating... always wonder when people say that... There was 13 episodes when it was the Lor and Chris show. Where was it all about the Girls then?

Just asking?

BTW - Dr Who's fans of the world unite. and I am not bitter about GG anymore. I found a wonderful Fic writer who is doing a great job of writing L/L and with the inner circle of Stars Hallow, E/R and last but not least Rory living away from Stars Hallow.

well as less as i care about the girls relationship and as much i just watched because of LL i have to say ITA.

if there would have never been such much focus on the realtionship to the boys there wouldnt have been this much drama there. during the first 4 seasons the forcus was mainly on the girls and so nothing really major happened in their love lifes. yes men came and went away or stayed BUT this was nothing compared to *partings* or *season 7s eloping in paris with the complete wrong guy and pretending sad face lorelai*.. if there would have been more focus on the girls the drama in the bachground with the boys would have been less painful because less drama because less time and less focus. maybe LL would have broken up but without the crap we got to watch. there wouldnt have been so much time to cause big trouble because the main focus would have been lorelai and rory and well emily lorelai. so I agree with you.

And now Dr Who with have it's own board on YAY

ITA where was the girls relationship when the Dopey marriage happened, one minute Lorelai wanted to do things with Rory and even her mother then no we're going off to Paris and nothing was the same again!

Did they every go on the ski trip or was that just talk, maybe he didn't get that cabin. It just makes me sick they showed so much of the holidays in S7 and we got NOTHING in S5-6 where it was just L&L with Rory. Was DSR just trying to push the "perfect family" crap in S7 with the xMas stuff. But it did show that in part Lorelai was not into it, writing the secret letter for Luke and going off alone to post it.

S7 makes me so MAD!

One thing I do remember about S6 was feeling sad or sorry for Lorelai at the end of most eps, what happened to the strong Lorelai ASP wrote! maybe she should have just got those cats at the end of S4 LOL

Oh you should have heard me yesterday or was the day before that. I can't remember but Vaso showed me a video and boy did I rant Poor Vaso had to sit through it

Did someone post the little something from Rotten Tomatoes here already ?

Quote:
The Saw movies are so tightly structured to set up all their plot twists, it does not seem like there would be any room for improvisation. But actor Scott Patterson, who joins the franchise in Saw IV, gave the filmmakers some of his own material to work with.

"You improvise before the meat of the scene begins and at the end of it," said Patterson. "So if they don't like any of it, [they can delete it]. I didn't mess with the text as written, but in the beginning if they wanted a little preamble and at the end I put a button on it."

Patterson plays an FBI agent on the trail of Jigsaw. After his long stint on television, improvisation was one of the many freedoms he enjoyed on Saw IV. "Coming from a very regimented structured environment that Gilmore Girls was and walking onto that set and just being able to stretch your muscles, it was a great experience."

He had nice things to say about actor Tobin Bell too, revealing just how close his agent gets to Jigsaw. "I had one scene with him. I can't really tell you about it but he's a terrific guy. He's a really dedicated actor and a terrific human being. And a pretty good singer/songwriter."

Saw IV will be hitting theaters October 26
And if you are interested in watching the trailer - go here.

Yes you did

The most interesting part, not that we didn't know it already, but another confirmation

It was more like too much Taylor and too much party planning. I loved seeing that scene with Lane and Rory, but it could have been shorter.

This still makes me so smad. It was funny to joke about it last summer, but it definitely wasn't funny by 8:45 during 7.22. The finale absolutely should have been about the girls, but that shouldn't have meant that we got the LL reunion in those last five minutes. The LL SL, and also more with Emily and Lorelai, should have been wrapped up by 7.20/7.21. If it did, the finale could have truly focused on the girls in a way we all could have been happy about without being bitter about other relationships.

But whatever, everything in S7 happened and it's not worth it to me to get bitter again.

Remember when I came with the news that John Cabrera directed a music video for the artist Wisely with Jenna Fischer from the Office in it as well. Well it's on youtube for those interested:

YouTube - Jenna Fischer stars in Wisely's "Through Any Window"

On Jenna Fischer's blog, there's also a bit of info about shooting it etc. Too bad the pics are not working there, because John Cabrera (Brian) is supposed to be in one of them as well I think.
