Well officially GG last season had a 13 ep pick up at first before 22 were confirmed.

I guess they come back 2008 for the other 9 if they already know how long they will be shooting for.

DSR left them in love ASP left them in a ****ed up mess!

I'll give AiA a chance and Melissa new sitcom. I just bought Saw 1-3 on DVD without seeing them before, is that crazy?

well, for R/L it was the opposite of showrunners that left them in love and in a mess. Its like every year it was a mess up couple free for all. I am definetly not watching Men in Trees i refuse to watch anything with that Hack

Oh sorry you were talking about Rory and Logan, ITA that what they did in the end was stupid, even if DSR had a plan to bring them back in S8.

What is it with them and the "all or nothing" do we really need it and do we think Chris would have stayed away in S8?

as for Men in Trees, watch the next 5 (they are great) They are the final 5 for S1 even though in the US they will air as part of S2. And DSR had nothing to do with them, he was too busy messing with GG. I'll give the others a go and have already seen some spoilers and just how he has NOT had a part in the SL!

I'll try watching AIA but I still think it's not a good show for Scott. He can do better and he is waisting his time with that. He is not getting any younger and playing some sappy dad on a sitcom is not helping at all. He should play something real. Something with character.

As far as Saw goes. Well I watched them all and if you once know where to look they tend to get boring. I fell asleep during the third one so I had to watch it again. Next time though I doubt I'm going to fall asleep
But again not really a role that moves him forward but he at least has something to do right

'Gilmore Girls' Actor Lands Role in Wendy Wasserstein's 'Third'

August 24, 2007
Actor Matt Czuchry, who played Logan Huntzberger on Gilmore Girls, will be appearing on stage for the West Coast debut of Third, the last play written by the late Wendy Wasserstein.

Third, which first opened at Lincoln Center Theater in 2005, tells the story of a New England University professor who accuses one of her students of plagiarism. The play will be directed by Maria Mileaf and will open on September 19 at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles. It will run until October 21.

Emmy-award winner Christine Lahti (Chicago Hope, Jack & Bobby) is set to star in the play. Lahti is quite familiar with Wasserstein's works, having appeared in some of the playwright's earlier plays, including the Pulitzer Prize-winning play The Heidi Chronicles and Lifetime's version of An American Daughter.

"Wendy Wasserstein is one of the most important voices for women of our generation. The last time we spoke I told her how powerful I felt Third was," Lahti said. "I'm honored to have another opportunity to portray one of Wendy's complex heroines."

Matt Czuchry will appear in the play as Woodson Bull III, also known as Third. The 30-year-old actor is highly known for his role on the CW series, Gilmore Girls. He appeared in 60 episodes, playing Rory Gilmore's (Alexis Bledel) wealthy love interest.

Apart from Gilmore Girls, Matt Czuchry appeared in another CW series, Veronica Mars, wherein he played Norman Phipps, a reporter for Vanity Fair who pretends to be Logan Echolls' (Jason Dohring) half-brother, Charlie Stone. His other television credits include Freaks and Geeks, Hack, Jake 2.0, 7th Heaven and The Practice.

Aside from Czuchry and Lahti, the cast of Third also includes Jayne Brook (Boston Legal) as Nancy, Sarah Drew (Everwood) as Emily and M. Emmet Walsh (Blade Runner) as Jack.

Making up Third's design team are Vince Mountain for scenic design, Alex Jaeger for costumes and David Lander for lighting. Michael Roth is the composer, while Dana Anderson serves as production stage manager.

I have no doubt that Scott deserve great roles but for now I hope the series is wildly popular... 1. If it is cancelled... no doubt they will probably say it's Scott's fault they should have stayed with the other actor 2. It will get his name out there without the mention of Lauren Graham and Gilmore Girls "also" Scott P.

Lauren deserve all her fame... she did a great job with her role as Lorelai Gilmore but Scott wasn't mentioned much... was he?

I don't watch the WB/CW since the end of the show, it's still on my dial and I don't go to their website. I do get the CW and I planned on watching to the bitter end just to support him. I think he deserve it, I love the guy too much not to... plus I need my dose of SP since I wont get anymore Luke Danes ever... well I hope it last longer than AS-P's series for Fox.

he should have been, he did an amazing job to balance Lauren on the show.. but the show was about girls so.. I still believe he's just as good as she is, but we were never really able to see all he can. Lauren was on screen for like 3/4 of the episode, when Scott was on only in part of that. the thing is, in AIA it's gonna be the same, he's gonna be just in the background, probably even more than in GG
Why can't he be in Heroes or something? he could play Peter's uncle or something
