I totally agree! Gilmore Girls along with the cast was so under-appreciated cause it was on a garbage network like The WB/CW! It's so wrong! Oh well, I guess The WB/CW isn't all bad, they at least picked up Gilmore Girls so I guess they have SOME taste.

The WB picked up GG. The CW cancelled it. Now that the CW doesn't have GG, their line-up is just crappy!

Good point but The CW picked it up last year didn't they?! Or did they simply do it out of obligation to contract?! Either way, The CW sucks! If they had freaking given Amy her 2 year contract last year in the first place, we wouldn't be in this mess! She would have been back for S7 and I have no doubt in my mind that Amy could have convinced the girls to come back! One of the reasons the girls didn't come back for an 8th season is because Amy wasn't writing! haha isn't it ironic that The CW didn't give Amy her contract and then in the end, the network ended up being the ones fighting for the show to come back?! I know it's so horrible but I can't help but laugh at the ironic-ness and stupidity of that network! Well at least The WB has some (keyword: SOME) of my respect!

I couldn't stand how the CW marketed the show. At least the WB had a sense of community about their shows, with promos featuring casts of multiple shows and support for other actresses beyond the main cast, plus occasionaly they did "you're watching" ads for their stations to show they cared for the fans.

The CW...every show had their own promo and never mixed with others, they had the horrible green color scheme with that stupid 'grungy' look to it (along with the annoying "Get Ready" song), and unless you were part of the A or B storyline of a show, forget any publicity from the network .

Where did you get that from? I think LG said that the set got more relaxing after Amy left. Because with her word perfect shooting it made for long long hours.

While I agree it's ironic that the CW (Well it was actually the WB studio) didn't want a 2 year deal and tried it's best to bring it back anyway, and yes with Amy there I have no doubt she would have talked the girls into coming back. Even if it's for 13 eps.

What I don't agree with is the talk about the show being cancelled, can you cancel something that didn't exist?

Well she said she didn't feel right going on another season without her because the show is Amy's baby. She only did it this year cause of contract and she didn't feel right doing it again.
