I don't know whether this has been posted or not, but...

Do not answer that question with automatic wishful thinking. Beware: Just because it seems logical to assume that TV critics' newest series darling — the program they're all shrieking is the greatest thing since "Battlestar Galactica," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Gilmore Girls" — should make it into the Top 10 Emmy run-off doesn't mean that'll happen. She's also great with my dog, who has an anxiety disorder.
I wonder if her dog knows Paul Anka.

With all that info, I wouldn't be surprised to find out she was soon moving away from Los Feliz, lol.
Really. I hope no one with stalker potential read that article.

I think Lauren did take her to work at least once but it might have been in S5 before PA was around.

I do love it that Hanna has a anxiety disorder LOL

No it's Lauren's new movie, Evan Almighty.

Good movie, not as big as they were making it out to be but still a good time, and it doesn't even open here for 2 months

How did you know it was Lauren

Hey tazzded! Good to see ya!

What I meant before about Lauren moving was that I wouldn't be surprised if she's already made plans to move and therefore was open about all those hang out spots, not that she'll have to move as a result of the article, lol.
Anyway, she's away a lot lately on location ....

Don't jinx it!

Maybe it's 'cause she knows she won't be home much in the next few months and by then 99% will have forgotten the news.

edmontonsun.com - Showbiz: Movies, TV and Theatre - 'World-wife tour' phase
Playing the wife of Steve Carell's modern-day Noah turned out to be a godsend for Lauren Graham.

"After years and years of talking fast and being sassy, I was happy to do something simpler."

In other words, no more being one-half of the quippy motor-mouthed, mother-daughter duo of The Gilmore Girls.

The acclaimed series ended its seven-season run last month, freeing up the 40-year-old Graham to concentrate on what she cheerfully calls her "world-wife tour."

With the Biblical-themed comedy Evan Almighty in theatres, Graham has just finished work on an independent drama with Matthew Perry (the pair star as a dysfunctional married couple) and is due this summer in Toronto to portray Greg Kinnear's spouse in Flash of Genius.

"I'm just glad the projects don't resemble each other. I seriously thought I would be planting an herb garden (right now). I'm happy to be floating around doing stuff ... The only downside of having a steady job on television is (part) of the love of the job is not knowing what's coming next and the variety. I had this feeling a couple years into the show, 'What do I miss?' It was the unexpected and not knowing what the next thing would be and whether I would get it or not get it.

THE UNKNOWN

"So to get back to that unknown is -- I'm sure after a while it will drive me crazy -- but for now it feels really nice ... I feel like I've earned that ... I put in a lot of time at one thing and now I get to reap the benefits. If you think about it, I could be a doctor by now if I had gone to medical school instead of Gilmore Girls."

That is not to suggest the decision to conclude the series -- a mutual one for Graham, co-star Alexis Bledel and the network -- came easily.

"You feel so attached. It's like that project becomes a person and you want to leave the project in the right place. So it was really a struggle.

"I think we felt to do that show cost a certain amount of time and dedication. It never got easier. Usually in years five, six, seven, you get into a routine and the days become normal and it never happened there. It was just the nature of the language and the big long shots and the fact it was mainly just the two of us ... At the end of the day, there wasn't a way to do it differently. It was going to cost them a whole lot to renegotiate (contracts) with everyone, so it felt right (to end it). But the angst about it also felt right. It's one of the best jobs I ever had, so it was hard to leave."

Not that Graham is ruling out a return to the small screen some day. "I love television. I would go back, for sure. But again, the next thing will be a disaster and last three episodes -- that's just the odds."

For the time being, though, Graham is buoyed by the cache of being a recently-retired Gilmore girl.

"The reputation of the show has been a huge help," she says, adding with a laugh, "But what a lot of directors still like is Bad Santa."
a new news about Lauren!

Huh? This part was a bit confusing.
Yeah, I was confused too. There's actually a lot of contradictions between her different interviews.

I find it funny that her dog has an anxiety disorder because she has to be in the same room as everybody else It's a dog, a group-living animal so yeah she wants to be with her pack and not left outside

Does anyone remember? I think a reporter actually asked that, or there was some discussion about whether they ever met, over on the spoiler threads at the beginning of season 6. It's lost in the black hole of FF's crash now, and my memory is foggy on the details.

There was a pic of Lauren and Hannan taken during the S5 photo shoot, the one across the road from the diner with Scott.
