Thanks for the thread and the info on ASPs new show. I'm so not gonna watch. Imagine watching and be in this (somewhat) mess in 6-7 years from now. Aint gonna happen. I don't trust her
I'm gonna sit this one out until the entire series, if succesfull and actually stays on air for more than one seaons, hits the shelves on dvd.

I think I might just give ASPs show a chance. I'm going to get invested or anything, but just out of curiosity, I think I'll be watching the first few.

Just having watched those few released clips though, the laugh track and everything is making me cringe. The show doesn't seem to have anything special about it the way GG did.

I got to ask that very question of Lauren Graham herself, who tells me "People keep asking me about it, and I haven't spoken to anyone who could actually make it happen. I do wish [Amy S.-P.] had gotten to be a part of the end because the show was so much Amy's vision from the beginning, but there were a number of reasons that wasn't the way it was. But would those four final words have made a difference? I'm not sure. I think we were at a good place to end, and I think it was a natural ending." Question: I just can't muster up any enthusiasm since the demise of Gilmore Girls. I now have a humdrum existence. How do you deal with it every day?— Holly

Ausiello: That's a great question, Holly. Whenever I feel down in the dumps, I look across my office at the prop wine bottle from the Stars Hollow production of Fiddler on the Roof that producers sent me last week as a thank-you for supporting their show. Nothing lifts my spirits like some serious swag. Don't be jealous, though: I also got my hands on some way cool Dragonfly Inn loot, and I totally plan on sharing it with you guys via a contest of some sort. I'll hopefully have more details in the coming weeks.
