ON TV CONTEST : Dino, Paul Anka in winner’s kennel club Through the years, television animals have brightened the lives of their human pals and made their series that much more fun to watch. Noel the pig provided more than a few laughs on Designing Women. Agent K-13 often lent Max and 99 a paw on Get Smart. Colonel Potter would have been miserable on M * A * S * H without his horse, Sophie. How many TV critters do you remember ? That was the challenge issued by Judge Nixon for the latest On TV Contest. There were some pretty impressive lists submitted. Most listed more than 100 animals. Some had more than 200. But none could beat the list submitted by Cyndi Justice of North Little Rock. Her list reached a whopping 500. That’s a lot of chimps, pups and horses. Here are just a few of the animals from the list. Remember these ? Teen pregnancy focus of new ABC Family series “THE SECRET LIFE OF THE AMERICAN TEENAGER” First “Juno,” a film about a pregnant teenager, then the so-called “pregnancy pact” in Massachusetts. Now this show, also about a pregnant teenager. Is this a trend? Because I know how long it takes for a show like this to go from development to our TV screen, I’ll chalk it up as a coincidence. This new series is brought to us by the same woman who brought us “7th Heaven.” A girl named Amy (played by Shailene Woodley) goes to band camp, has an encounter with a drummer and ends up pregnant. As to be expected, she is shocked and is reluctant to share the news with her mother, who is played by the fabulous Molly Ringwald. I’ll let you pause for a moment as you digest the fact that Ringwald, the former queen of the teen movies, is now playing a mom. Pause. OK, back to the show. Ringwald’s character has her own teen pregnancy story, which makes this all very “Gilmore Girls”-esque. Other actors returning from the past are John Schneider (“Dukes of Hazzard”) and Josie Bissett (“Melrose Place”). 8 p.m. ABC Family

Hi! I used to post on this board all the time back when GG was on, but had a break from fanforum for a while - but I was wondering, what did they do with the GG sets? Did they take them down or are they keeping Stars Hollow there - anyone know? I was looking at my pictures from the tour and randomly wondered what had happened to it!

The backlot is still there apparently but it's been De-Star Hollowed for other projects, some of the wardrobe has also been sold off.

But WHEN the movie happens they'll be able to bring the town back

oh cool, thanks! I wonder if you still get taken there on the tours - If and when I go back to LA, I'd love to do the tour again. I'd just be annoying if they didn't go though the town, lol.

So what do you think the odds are of a movie happening? It would be so cool if they did one!

I think they would still take you through there... even though it's used for different shows now. And like you, if I was to go back out to LA, I would also want to take a tour again.

About the movie, I don't know. I would like to see one though.

The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Pushing Daisies are just 2 shows that used the backlot in the last year.

I would have love to see it in it's GG days but I'd still go if I ever get the chance to go to the US.

Yeah, me too. But only if they spent a long time planning it properly - like with the Friends movie (I heard they're seriously thinking of doing one).. I think unless its very well thought out, they could run the risk of ruining it.

I didn't know PD had been filmed there! I suppose that would explain why i recognized the gazebo.
