Not until it gets the send off it deserves!
And what makes you think a GG movie will do that? I agree, let the show RIP.

LoL, I don't think GG is "Resting in Peace", but rather more like "Turning in its Grave".

A seven year run shouldn't end without knowing in advance that it's ending. It's not right for the characters, plots, actors, crew and obviously, the fans, or at least most of them.

They were even screwed out of a final cast/crew picture with key long running cast not there on the day, I mean really they knew the chances of S8 were slim they should have worked things out better and give the fans a chance to say goodbye.

They didn't give a rat's butt about the fans and for Amy's show getting canceled. In your face you

Exactly.....so why would they do now ?? IF there´s a movie it will only be for the money, not the fans....

Well that may be true for the network but Amy would care about doing it right! Who cares what the motives are for the network! The network has never cared about GG, only the money it brought in! As long as they make it possible for a GG movie/mini series/season to air, then I don't care why they want it!

Exactly! The cancellation of GG was unfair on so many levels! The shows cancellation was so abrupt, the cast didn't even get to say goodbye and take a photo together! They definately should have planned things out better, negotiations had been going of for half a year, it's pretty unbelievable that they couldn't work things out better for everyone!

Ask Ausiello - Will Kelly have a new role?

Quote:
Question: What is up with the 90210 spin-off rumor? I heard "Meet the Mills" is the name and that none of the original characters are coming back. Why don't they just call it The O.C. 2.0? — Fenster
Ausiello: Fenster, you don't hear so good. As far as I know, the show is still untitled, but I'd be very surprised if producers didn't go with… Beverly Hills, 90210. A glance at Rob Thomas' script for the pilot tells me that Hannah Zuckerman-Vasquez (the spawn of Andrea and Jesse) now helms the news desk at the "West Beverly Blaze," which is now apparently a TV show. Also roaming the halls of West Bev is Kelly Taylor, who teaches fashion design. (Wait, wasn't Donna the fashion designer? Oh right, she's now the proprietress of Bao Thai.) Whether or not Jennie Garth would ever sign on to be this show's "Nat" is unclear. The pilot also reveals that one of the protagonists is David Silver's niece (but wasn't David an only child before the arrival of little Erin?). And if Kelly Bishop isn't cast as the show's hard-drinkin', faded, '70s-movie-star grandma, it will drive me to drink. Fun fact! Navid, the Persian guy who runs the TV station, says he doesn't drink because of his religion: Scientology.

I don't know if Kelly would want it, I think it's just MA being himself, remember he wanted Kelly to play the grand mother on Gossip Girl.

Is Ausiello a frustrated casting director? First Kelly, now this:

Quote:
Question: How awesome would it be if Lauren Graham landed a leading role on the Office spin-off? Wouldn't she be great as the female version of Michael? What do you think the chances of that happening are, taking into consideration her mega-deal with NBC? — Mo

Ausiello:
You mean the mega-deal that may or may not have been force-majeured by the strike? Well, regardless of whether she's currently on the Peacock's payroll, I love your idea, and I think Ben Silverman and Greg Daniels would be insane not to at least consider Graham for the gig. Are you with me? If so, consider this week's Ask Ausiello Discussion Thread a makeshift petition to get LG an Office job.

Yeah I saw that caf, but I like the idea of Lauren in a sitcom.
