Sorry but Birds of America I'm not sure if I really know what this movie is going to be about anyway but man what a title.

Ausiello: Beats me, but had Gilmore Girls been back this season, she would've been (wait for it) spending time with ex-leading man Matt Czuchry! No lie. Czuchry recently confirmed to me that despite Rory and Logan's series-ending split, he quietly inked a new deal with the show last spring that — if Gilmore was renewed for an abbreviated, 13-episode eighth season — would've called for Logan to return. "Contractually, there was an agreement that I would come back for a certain amount of episodes," reveals the upcoming Friday Night Lights guest star, who insists TPTB didn't clue him in on why Logan would've returned. "I don't know [what would've happened], because those episodes were never written. There were a lot of hypotheticals about what those 13 episodes would be." At the very least, the return engagement probably would've given Rory-Logan a better send-off than the forced breakup we got. Looking back, even Czuchry concedes the duo's split felt rushed. "I felt like that particular episode, where he asks her to marry him and then they break up and it's done, just felt like too much at once considering that this relationship was something that had evolved over three seasons." That said, he acknowledges that Gilmore producers were in a tough spot creatively because "when they shot the episode, it wasn't known whether it was a season finale or a series finale. I think that if everybody would've known that it was a series finale, things would have went differently."

They wasted so much with Season 7 and hearing this makes me even more madder.
I would have loved to see Season 8.

OMG - I'm even madder now!, so many people are pissed off with how the show ended! I've said it before DSR needed to have them signed up before mid S7 to S8 so they could end the series better if they didn't want back.

Is there any one of the actors who still thinks it ended okay?

if any of them do, there has got to be something wrong with them. This show could've lasted longer then friends we got half of a middle between luke & lorelai with a mini end.

I doubt it, but a TV movie (or better still 4 hours mini series) is not out of the question.

I knew DSR was planing something for S8 with Logan, there was no reason for them to break up otherwise!

Otherwise it makes no sense. But well Season 7 made no sense at all.

It's just that with all the actors had been saying, being disappointed with Season 7 and wanting to continue another Season, what makes me so mad. At least if they had known it would be the last, they could have changed it to end on a better note.

Yep, two hours are enough to hav LL break up in front of the altar (Kind of Chris storms in and shouts "NO"! in the teaser), have doubts about their relationship while Lorelai starts an affair with Chris again, Emily throws a "Hurra, Hurra" party, Richard has a third heart attack during one of his secret lunches with Pennilyn Lott, Rory and Tristan meet again and realize they're made for each other - until Jess shows up and they realize they're really, really made for each other and a devasted Single-again Rory leaves behind and kicks her ass for not acepting Logans proposal, Kirk (naked of course, what'd be reason to make a movie, if not naked Kirk!?!?) accidently kills off April (propaply a drop accident, Taylor hired Kirk for the opening of his old fashioned needlework shop), Lorelai and Luke reconcile over her dead body in the last two minutes

Yap, that's probably exactly how they would like to make a GG movie, lots of "good" drama.

And exactly the kind of film I would never ever like to see, but would watch anyway, just out of curiosity of course.
