Most of the final was fine for me but the biggest disappointment is still the last minute reunion for L&L, that could have happened a number of times in the last few eps and Luke still could have thrown a surprise party for Rory and in a way it would have been sweeter as he would have already 'had the girl' so to speak. While he never said it we all know he did it for Lorelai and on some level to get back with her or at least show Lorelai how he loved her. And the Logan SL was a clear set up for any future season.

Nothing much, but I just noticed when looking up a movie that Scout Taylor-Compton who played Clara, Dean's sister, is going to be in a movie on Hallmark Channel on Saturday the 15th. (Tomorrow).

I agree with you, Katka. I like CA and the show but a Golden Globe nomination? Well, at least Lauren was nominated once, which is still better than what they always did to her at the emmys.

I watch Samantha Who and while it is a funny show abd Cristina is a great actess, Lauren played Lorelai so much better. She had the humro down as well as the serious scenes. Its just because SW is on one of the main channels - no matter how good the show or actess/actor if its on the CW/WB it aint getting nominated. GG's earlier seasons were writtten so well and the actors played the part perfectly that it should have definatly been nomnated in some way. SW isnt that great of a show that people make it out to be. I watch it becasuse its something to watch and if Mellissa wasnt in it i would watch. Lauren definatly should ahve been nominated for Best actress in Commedy for GG.

lol I didn't know she's nominated for a Golden Globe, thanks for the info but frankly I don't get it, I like the show but why does she have to get a nomination for less than 10 episodes we've seen on TV? And I'm not talking about Lauren Graham not getting any awards for Gilmore Girls. I mean Heroes was nominated last year too (or did they even get the award, I can't remember). My point is that I would like to see someone being nominated for shows which have been on air over a longer period like 3 or 4 seasons when you can recognize the development of the characters and the development of the actors as well.

That's just history, lots of 'hot' new shows are nominated early on. Gilmore Girls got lots of nominations in it's earlier season, not many awards though and it will always happen.
