You know ppl, last year in MA's final interview with ASP, he asked her to divulge her planed final 4 words of “Gilmore Girls”, if the show was canceled the following year. She agreed that she would tell him, if indeed, the world of Stars Hollow didn’t last beyond 1 more season. Well, now the show has concluded in that time frame, I think MA has every right to collect on Amy's promise. I was thinking, maybe someone should write to MA and remind him of his agreement with Amy????? A deal is a deal, after all!!!!!! I for one, would LOVE to know what the departing words of our girls were to be!!!!!!!

In fact ASP didn't create Roseanne but had a real input in it from 1990 as a writer and 1993-1994 as a supervising producer.

He remembered, didn't need a reminder, lol. Mikey posted on Ausiello Report this week, somewhere during the Upfronts, that he was off to talk to ASP and ask for those final four words. He hasn't said specifically, but it sounds like she didn't tell him. She told EW (in the interview above) that now she won't divulge them until she's "on top of that building, ready to plummet to her death".

caf123- I read her comment in the EW interview. I just thought Mike asking might be more persuasive. It's sad his appeal to Amy didn't get a result.

I heard a few weeks back, that LG and DS went to the CW network year end wrap party together. Was that true???? I head they were the only 2 from "GG" to attend.

I don't know about the DS/LG going to the wrap party together, but as for them being the only ones to attend, I don't think that is true. The article I read only mentioned Lauren as being there. Just because she was the only one mentioned doesn't mean that others weren't there. I do remember that Alexis was mentioned as not being there, but there was no mention of EH, KB, MC, LW or any of the other cast members not being there.

And a number of people have commented on not liking ASPs new show and it's too much like Gilmore and stuff.

Hey since the critics don't seam to like it it will probably become the next big Fox hit!

her new show will get canceled faster than she can say gilmore girls FOX is quick dumping shows that dont bring good ratings. if good or bad FOX never wants to deal with a bad viewer rating so farewell amy

Believe it or not, a lot of people don't know or care who a showrunner is or what they have done in the past.

Heh. "How did Gilmore Girls change your life?" It taught me things like that which I didn't know before. And now I'll never watch TV the same way again! lol.

But also, I'm noticing how many other people do know, too. Maybe it went over my head before, but maybe the information is spreading? Things change.

If I recall, someone commented on a lj that he/she went to the wrap party and no one from the Gilmore clan, aside LG, attended. I took that Alexis, Kelly Bishop and Edward Herrmann weren't there. I believe it was said that Scott Patterson wasn't there either, but David S and Liza Weil (with her husband) were.
