Ha I love what Ausiello had to say:

WTF!? That's the tribute?! Unbelievable!

Its bad enough they had to cancel it, but then they have to diss it. Like they couldn't take a minute out of their time to write a little thank you to the fans, writers, cast, etc. No instead they have to cancel their #2 show (#1 to me of course

) and then they go and insult us! Haven't we been put through enough hell by her as it is?!! They owe Gilmore Girls so much! It was them that helped make their network so popular!!

I know I might regret what Im about to say later but im not all that excited to see ASP's new show. I have a feeling I will be comparing ti to much to GG. The description just does not seem very different than GG. Two females and the story of their lives. I could be wrong after I actually watch it, though.

I have to agree here. I don't know about everyone else, but I don't feel like watching a show Amy decided to abandon Gilmore Girls for! It sounds like a rip off of GG. I will be sitting there comparing it to GG too much and end up depressed thinking about Gilmore Girls. I might check it out but I don't really plan on it. If I do check it out, it will simply be to compare and contrast and to see what Amy is doing with her life now. I won't be watching it regularly.

Their network ISN'T popular. Not at all.

I'll have to wait and see on Jezabel James. The premise doesn't sound all that interesting to me, but you never know. I'll put it on my maybe list.

I'm actually excited about the show. Mostly because I'm a fan of Parker Posey. The cast and the show seem different enough that I doubt any thought of GG will enter my mind (though Lauren Ambrose might make me think about Six Feet Under). What I am however most concerned about is that it's on Fox which has a VERY quick trigger. Almost massochistic to become too attached to any Fox show. Unless a Fox show is a hit you are best advised NOT to give it a chance. They've earned zero chances from their audience.

One does need to remember the context. The upfronts are NOT for the fans. The upfronts are to introduce and sell shows to advertisers. They are selling them to Ivory Soap, General Motors, and Depend Undergarments.

It sounds like a really bad summer beach book to me.

The CW needs to get their act together. Personally, there is no other show on the CW that I watch and i'm sure that applies to alot of people. Their gonna feel their consequences soon enough and when they do, I hope it hurts!...okay. rant over

Oh, it wasn't the place for the decent farewell they should have shown on Tuesday - but why be so rude? Especially when everyone there knows you can always parse ratings to prove most any point.

What's wrong with a polite 'we miss and were sorry to see it end'. Ostroff's churlishness doesn't show the CW in a very good light.

Moreover, what if any of those advertising suits has a kid who grew up on Gilmore Girls? Heh. Such things happen.

How rude. At least acknowlege the cast and crew; forget the Pussycat Dolls! Dear lord, can't believe they are actually doing another search for it. One was okay (if you watched at times, it was not that bad at all), but how many girls does a group need?!

The CW doesn't get it. It hurts. They are (almost certainly) cancelling Veronica Mars, they are done with GG, renewed 7th Heaven (eww...) and are now cancelling it. One Tree Hill and Smallville will most likely come back only one other season, but they are making OTH a midseason thing.

So... Why did the WB and UPN merge anyways? *sigh*

Ohh, I know. My new victim shall be Ashton Kutcher; he, afterall, is behind Beauty and the Geek, "which brings in more viewers".

*sigh* I'm not sure i'll ever be okay with the departure of this show!
