And because I can't find any better place to put this, I watched a snippet of the new "Blue Collar Comedy Tour" on Comedy Central the other day and Bill Engvall told a supposedly true story of a rather interesting encouter with a deer. How does that relate to Gilmore Girls you ask? Simple, when he flew to Arkansas for some event, the airplane hit a deer on the runway and killed it. I immediately flashed back to Taylor's town meeting rant about the danger deer pose to airplanes.

One last thing and then I'll go back to my corner: according to a small ad in the April 3-9 TV Guide I received yesterday, the following TV Guide (April 10-16) will feature the Gilmore Girls cover story.

Alexis looks lovely at the premiere. I love that she almost always looks put together and is never falling out of her dress....a la Lindsay Lohan. Classy gal, that Bledel. But where was the boyfriend?!

Cocteau Twins

Who they were: A dreamy, alt-rock trio that released albums throughout the '80s and officially disbanded in 1997. Elizabeth Fraser's lush, fairytale vocals were a huge part of the band's sound and coveted by girls worldwide (me included). On a side note, last year guitarist Robin Guthrie released an album with his more recent band, Violet Indiana.

Where they'll be: Nowhere! OK, so this is kind of a trick entry — the band was supposed to perform at Coachella, but Fraser recently called the whole thing off. Of course, that doesn't mean you shouldn't have your own little Cocteau party on your iPod.

Choice cut: Lorelei, from 1984's Treasure. If it hasn't surfaced on Gilmore Girls yet, it will.
