Oh - didn't know that. Well then it seems impossible. Thanks for explaining.

Thanks for explaining, Jennarose. Perhaps you could keep it in mind for the future, if a slot opens up? I've seen news threads topped on other boards. That way, posters see when news happenrs, without having to remember to search out the thread just to check.

It's not such a problem now, because the news just keeps on coming, but - even in this rather insane GG-verse, it's bound to someday slow down. Isn't it?

Topping the thread would also remind posters to share tidbits they come across elsewhere, especially as it all fragments,

Guess I'm agreeing with Mareike's request, and just asking the mods to keep it in mind if one of the three slots becomes free.

I have a question...in the first post, would it be possible to list news with the dates they are posted in the thread? I know the stars denote newest items, but maybe something or at least the month it was posted in would be helpful.

Just a suggestion. :-)

This week Evan almighty came in at #7 in the box office bringing in $4,972,000. Its total gross so far is $87,867,000.

Emmy voters choose nominees based not on whole seasons, but on individual episodes submitted by series' producers and casts. So why do such stars as Gilmore Girls' Lauren Graham and such shows as Veronica Mars consistently get overlooked? Tom O'Neil, who writes the Los Angeles Times' Gold Derby awards blog, has said in the past that critics are too quick to blame Emmy voters, when really the blame should rest with the people who send in submissions, who often send in inferior work that isn't representative of a whole season.

So, have we heard anything about the movie lately? Did Ausiello mention anything about it? Maybe we should send him a question about it .. we don't want him to forget it, right? I would do it, but I never did it before ..

is that only the USA profits?! Because I'm sure it makes some profit around the rest of the world as well.

Mo Ryan of the Chicago Tribune said it's "unlikely" just a few days ago; that's the top item in the first post. She also said she hasn't heard anything happening about it. FYI, Mo Ryan is well tuned in to Gilmore things.

But do go ahead and write Ausiello. Remind him you're still interested. Don't worry that you've never done it before. Most questions don't get published, and he seriously edits those that do. You can also post it as a comment on his Ausiello Report. He's off to TCA this week, and Amy S-P is likely to be there (at the Fox presentation, to promote Jezebel).

My personal take is she only said that to avoid telling her famous "last four words" - which were originally the "last two words", if they ever existed. And the critics will give her a pass and merrily move on Jezebel. But hey, she left a lot of loyal viewers in the lurch. I'm all for reminding them.

I would do it, but I don't know how and I'm not registered and my english is not that great, so I think it would be better if someone who is used to do it and has a good english to email him, explaining we want it and asking him to not give up on stalking ASP. lol

shinystar, has EA been released abroad yet? I haven't followed that closely. Most film critics said it's unlikely to recoup costs. Presumably, they include foreign sales in those forecasts.

Thanks for the suggestion. Do you think we should add dates to every line, or just show each new month - since the items are already in date order.

We could also change the title to "Updated on [date]" like many News threads. Is it time to do that? So far we've had updates almost daily, so I didn't know if it was needed yet, but maybe it would help .... thoughts?

It's not in theaters in Holland yet, I do know that. It will premiere here August 9th.

it may help if the title said 'updated on' for people who would like to know if there's new news or not when seeing this thread, without browsing through it.

You just have to send in a question to his email address, no login required. I did the same thing last week

EA won't be here till early Sept, and I'm betting it won't have a wide release to smaller towns until some time after that. I've seen the DL copy but will get the DVD when it comes out.

WOW only making back about half it's cost, I hope the international sales are going to make up the difference.

As shinystar mentioned, you can simply email Michael Ausiello at the following address: ask_ausiello@tvguide.com

BTW, if anyone's interested, HERE'S the info for Ausiello's GG giveaway, ending July 19.

It's updated so frequently, I don't know if changing the title is necessary. I was thinking, though, that maybe just showing each new month would suffice. I was reading all the headlines and just kept going, only realizing half way through that I'd already read most of the stories. It would just help with organization and people like me who can't get to the board everyday to check the news. :-)
