I personally don't need Chris in the movie. Be there for Rory - oh please how often do I have to go through that speech again before people will get he gives a rat's butt about her. Be a friend to Lorelai - let me roll my eyes one more time at that one. Sure because he was such a good friend to her over all those seasons They should finally bury the dude and MOVE ON !!

And if Amy did do a reunion movie... and brings up S7 wedding of those two, I hope she'll have to good sense to laugh the French wedding out of her plots.

If Chris had to be in the movie, I would only want there to be scenes with him and Rory. Seeing this deadbeat father with Lorelai in any context at all is not something I would want to see again - we had it shoved down our throats this past season - more than I could ever have imagined they would do - I, for one, don't need one more second of the guy.

I'd still love to see ASP asked someday about why there was such an acceptances by Lorelai of his behavior as an absent father - I know there have been a lot of explanations about it, including people defending his actions, but I would like to hear her try to answer it - not that I believe anything the woman says, but it would be interesting to her spin on it....because I always found it to be the creepiest part of the whole C/L thing. But, that's just me....

i think the way they depicted lorelai would make her cringe especially since lorelai was fashioned on herself. I think she'd take it as a personal insult. Especially 712- the begging would make her pull her hair out.

Completely agree. However, the OOCness was in many ways a continuation of what she started in S6. She is probably not of that opinion though But as long as she fixes it, I'll take it.

I think she could have made it clearer. No matter how OOC lorelai was under ASP I don't think she would have ever made her clingy. She'd probably would have rather had lorelali tell C to f himself than do that to her character.
