lancer1993- I think if Chris was in the movie to see Rory, I also think they could also find 5 seconds for a C/L moment!!!!!!

Wouldn't take much exposition to bring viewers up to speed on the C/L history. I'm still not giving up hope!!!!!!

I know the happily ever after and this point is basically a no go. I'm glad you agree Chris got messed around in season 7.

Ohh EH would be a fantastic doctor!! I've never watched Grey's before, but I might tune in just for those episodes

And Tara, I agree, Wicked has to be the best musical EVER. I saw it in Chicago last year, but someday I'm going to see it on Broadway in New York. Someday...

If there is a movie, and ASP brings Chris back, I don't think I would mind (as long as he doesn't mess things up AGAIN). Even though I wasn't pleased with the path for C/L in S7 (and I agree C&L, I do think that DSR didn't quite grasp the bond that they do have having been close friends for so long), I do think that ultimately it did wrap up all those apparent "what-ifs" and now they can both move on having gained that knowledge. Of course, YMMV since I'm a JJ, but as long as he's there for Rory or as a friend, I don't think I'd mind seeing Chris in the potential movie. However, I'm sure Luke would

IMO even one ep together or in S8 they would have talk about it, maybe even a fight but it would have happened.

i still can't even watch the episode where they had the fight outside the diner after the singing ep or was that the singing ep where they fight yet again about he wasn't ready for marriage - we get it lorelai he didn't want to marry you - move on

it was all very veiled and angry

Love your avi and I completely agree (as always!). In fact, I'd go so far as to say that they need Christopher in the movie. If this movie is in fact a true wrap-up of the series as a whole, he needs to be in it.

Well the only "fights" they had about Luke not being ready was Partings and there was no singing in that ep.

They shouted at each other in 7.02 on the street and later talked in the hay bale maze. I still feel they needed another fight to clear the air and how DSR left it was just to easy after all they went through, After the supermarket they didn't talk for months and the limited contact in the rest of the season didn't IMO really give a resolution to the problems they had.

It was a bland ending to the season and series, even if they had one scene where we saw them talk after the kiss it would have been better than the way it was left.

I personally don't need Chris in the movie. Be there for Rory - oh please how often do I have to go through that speech again before people will get he gives a rat's butt about her. Be a friend to Lorelai - let me roll my eyes one more time at that one. Sure because he was such a good friend to her over all those seasons

If Chris had to be in the movie, I would only want there to be scenes with him and Rory. Seeing this deadbeat father with Lorelai in any context at all is not something I would want to see again - we had it shoved down our throats this past season - more than I could ever have imagined they would do - I, for one, don't need one more second of the guy.

I'd still love to see ASP asked someday about why there was such an acceptances by Lorelai of his behavior as an absent father - I know there have been a lot of explanations about it, including people defending his actions, but I would like to hear her try to answer it - not that I believe anything the woman says, but it would be interesting to her spin on it....because I always found it to be the creepiest part of the whole C/L thing. But, that's just me....

Well I wouldn't call that a fight, you could tell at one point they were not talking about Rory and Logan and it got heated but no more then a lively discussion IMO.
