Well she has made comments that the Chris stuff was rushed (I think she means the marriage) so maybe looking back she did she the problems the season had.

Still not a good thing for Amy to comment on it to the public, even if she was joking.

What if a movie was made or set in 5 years time and based around Rory coming home to marry Logan? Of course Luke and Lorelai would be already married and had kids (twins). I just fell any movie needs a purpose and can't be just another day in Stars Hollow.

Yeah, while it was going on. Because I asked her if she knew any of the storylines of season 7, and she said no, just what she would hear when the cast e-mailed/called her. And then she was like, "Lauren would call me and I'd have to tell her she's pretty and funny and smart and is going to do movies"...I thought it was a strange comment, so I followed it up with, were they complaining? And then she said the whole it was difficult/different for them.

I'll get my friend to transcribe her tape and send it to me.

I guess after 6 years with one boss then someone new comes in it's gonna be hard but it sounds like a change from a year ago at the upfronts when Lorelai said it was better, or something like that. Maybe they were hearing the complaints and criticisms from fans but couldn't do anything about it.

Hey all!

Wow, Tara! That must have been so awesome to get to talk to her. Interesting that she got emails from KB and LG. I wonder if LG used any of ASP's advice when she became a producer towards the end of the season...

I think that since ASP has a vision for the show that she wouldn't skip a lot of time. I would definitely prefer her to ignore season 7 and continue the show as she originally planned, but I highly doubt that'd happen. I see her better working with what DSR left her and continuing her own story better than her skipping to a future time after LL are married and so on.

I should stop thinking about it... or I'm going to get my hopes up, only to be severly disappointed AGAIN if this doesn't work out either

When the movie (should it happen) really would ignore S7 I'd find that high insulting. As bad as it was it took place. If she was that afraid of getting an ending she can't deal with she shouldn't have left.

Then again I didn't mind S7 that much and enjoyed most of it..

I'm really not that set on a GG movie.. Especially not if it's going to take another 5 years..

LG not being happy with this season. Well sometimes I don't want to believe from LG, once time she's happy and likes it, other times she doesn't.
Then again she wasn't happy with the route ASP had taken in S6 either. So this part kind of made me laugh a bit

I don't think the movie, if it happens, will or should ignore s7. That would be ridiculous in my opinion. It happened, it's part of the show even if we didn't like it. So, the movie should be made in order to make everything ok and give closure to all the relationships, so we can have a different feeling towards s7 and not feel bitter about it forever, imo.

I agree, and I didn't mean it in a bad way. I meant it in a more "if only we could have a redo" but since we don't get those in real life, then the next best thing is to have a chance to make things right. That's all we really want if we get this movie anyway.

The ignoring of S7 was a joke, I know they can't do that by somehow fitting a season into 2 hours.

But if anyone can fix the mistakes from S6-7 in a two hour time it would be ASP.
