Welcome to the Gilmore Girls mistakes and bloopers Thread

This Thread is for finding mistakes and bloopers in the show and to laugh and discuss about them.

Did you see a camera man in the window while watching an episode? Did something happen that doesnt at all fit into the storyline? Did a coffee cup changed is color magicly during a scene? THIS is the right thread to tell us

so have fun searching for bloopers and mistakes and bring them on

Mistakes

General

* Lorelai always drank alcohol while being at FND. She drove home afterward still having booze in her system. Since when is that allowed in America?
Season One

* in 1.01 Lorelai says Rory is 16, but few epis later they celebrate her 16th birthday
* in 1.01 Lorelai and Rory were eating salads before Luke brings their burgers, but Rory and Lorelai don't eat greens
* in 1.02 Sean Gunn played character Mick that was a DSL installer and later he playes Kirk and says he's DSL installer
* in 1.03 at friday night dinner ER talk about Richard's mother as if she is dead, which she clearly isn't, since she appeared in several epis
* Rory drives to school in 1.04 but doesn't turn 16 until 1.06. Either the episodes were out of order or she was driving illegally.
* in 1.04 Max says that the AP test is offered some month early in the years, but AP tests are offered in May even if your taking a semester long AP class
* in 1.05 Luke shows up at the wake at Babette's bringking food, then we see him sitting near the piano, singing with everyone! hmm hello?? Luke?? singing at a funeral for a cat.
Season Two

Season Three

* in 2.13, when Rory gets home after her evening with Jess, her and Lorelai are talking and Rory's hug-a-world is on the couch beside Lorelai. Then in 3.12, they two of them are cleaning out the garage and hug-a-world rolls out and they say they haven't seen it in years.
Season Four

* Lorelai goes to pick up a wedding present for Dean in 4.04 but in a previous episode Rory brings Dean a catalogue and says that she'll get him something from there so they shouldn't have been getting a present elsewhere.
* in 4.16,when Emily is dialing a number for Manny Martelli, to make arrangements for the funeral, she only dials two digits. She just got the number from someone else, so there's no way it was speed-dial.
* in 4.20 Luke asks Lorelai out to the wedding and says "I´ll meet you at your house." But in the end Lorelai comes to the diner where Luke awaits her.
* in 4.22 when LL try to kiss for the third time Kirk runs into them, but they are not kissing, but in 5.01 he says he saw them kiss which was impossible, cause they weren't when he showed up
Season Five

* when sorting out the issue with Taylor's chewed shoes in 5.01 and Lorelai realizes that Michel's dogs are at the inn, he refers to Pau-Pau as a "he." However, in episode 3.19 when Michel first gets the chows, he refered to Pau-Pau as "she."
* Lorelai tells Rory in 5.21 that she doesnt like apples, just eats them while being pregnant. really? - was she pregnant then during 1.06 when she ate one
Season Six

* in 6.12 LL wake up because the church bells ring at 3:12 in the morning. How? didnt then destroy them in 4.11
Season Seven

* in 7.06 Luke admits he never really learned how to swim, yet Lorelai said she saw him swimming in the lake in episode 3.04
* in 1.06 Rory and Lorelai talk about her 8 birthday party where the clown was arrested, in 7.15 Rory suddenly can't remember her eigth birthday.
* in 6.22 Rory says something along the lines that Logan walked dignified at his graduation. But in 7.21 Logan said that at his graduation he was tripping all over the place.

Bloopers:

* Lorelai is already/still wearing her dress in 7.01 under the bed covers >> pic
* when LL talk about April in front of the diner in 6.12 you can see the same dog over and over passing the sidewalk behind Lorelai.
* in 1.15 when Luke is waiting for Lorelai outside the diner, you can see the reflection of the camera man's legs in the bottom part of the window, right before they show him and pan the window of the diner. Then when they actually show Luke, if you look at the window beside him, you can the camera, camera man, the boom mic and holder and a bunch of the crew members.
* in episode 3.14 when Dave, Zach and Brian are stopped by Mrs. Kim, you can see the camera in the car window.
* in 1.06 when Rory eats her piece of cake in Luke's Diner sometimes the plate is nearly full, sometimes nearly empty.
* in season 5 (5.16?), where Lane and Rory are talking in the bookstore you see this lady with pink shoes and a guy walk up to the door in the background. Each time the camera would face toward the door, you would see them walk up.
* in 1.08 Lorelai goes to Max with this cup >> pic; but when the camera goes back to them they've this cup >> pic
* in 4.16 Lorelai and Emily are on the phone after Trix died and the container changes its place from time to time >> pic1 >> pic2
* there is a key on Emilys jacket that doesnt belong there in 3.10 >> pic
* in 5.05, the couch, "big red" is big enough to hold Dean, Rory, Lorelai, and Luke, but in 5.14 it is only big enough to hold Luke and Lorelai.
* the cups in Luke´s diner change from 5.22 to 6.01 from colorful to white.
* in 1.03 Luke´s screw driver sticks in the toaster or lying next to it while he talks to Lorelai. That changes every time the camera shifts.
* in 2.10 Luke puts his coat on two times when he leaves the dinner at the Inn for the slide ride. You can see it, when Rory/Lorelai talk to Dean and his sister. In the background you see Luke and Jess taking their coats and well Luke has the urge to double it.
* in 6.13 at FND when Rory drinks her martini she puts it twice on the table
* in the teaser of 1.14 Lorelai and Rory are eating pizza but after every cut they're either eating it or not even started it yet, or only Rory is eating and Lorelai is not. And this keeps changing during the whole scene. >> pic1 pic2
* in 1.19 when Lorelai comments on Emily's shoes that she got from Rory, you can see the boom mic hang above their heads for a sec. pic
*in 1.21, when Lorelai, Max and Rory go to the town meeting we get an overview of Miss Patty's and who is sitting there. Among them is Luke. The three sit down behind the Troubadour who has his instrument housing next to him and on one of the chairs is a bag. Luke is not sitting there anymore. The next scene is another view over the people in the room and Luke is back in his seat in front of Max and Lorelai. We get a close up and see that where the bag was seated in the first scenes was now Luke.
* in 6.11 Rory gets in her car, drives away from Lorelai's yard, but after the cut, from a different angle you can see a man's arm instead of hers on the wheel. pic1 pic2
* in 6.15 when Lorelai enters the kitchen the lemon squeezer is already there on the desk in front of Rory, but a few seconds later it is not, then Rory gets it out from the drawer and starts squeezing. >> pic1 pic2
* in 3.08 during the Friday night dinner, something that looks like a microphone swings back and forth next to Richard's arm. It comes back in almost every shot of him.
* in 3.08 you can see a mic. wire on Lorelai >> pic
* in 3.09 Lorelai's blouse neckline changes during the scence back and forth >> pic1 pic2 pic3
* in 2.03, when Lorelai, Rory and Max are at Luke's their coffee cups change colour. From red to blue or the other way around.
* in 5.20 when Logan steals that sewing thingy from Emily he puts it into his right coat pocket but when Lorelai wants it back from him he takes it out of his left.

Great idea.

In 106 when Rory eats her piece of cake in Luke's Diner sometimes the plate is nearly full, sometimes nearly empty.

I have one more as well... in 4.22 when LL try to kiss for the third time Kirk runs into them, but they are not kissing, but in 5.01 he says he saw them kiss which was impossible, cause they weren't when he showed up

in 4.06 Emily complains that Lorelai didnt tell her about Sookies pregnancy. Yet she should have seen this when she met Sookie in 3.22 at Rorys graduation where Sookie was already showing a huge belly.
