Would have been a nice ending, but I still feel like the ending we've received was great too. Full circle feeling aswell. But with some major differences aswell (Rory is older, Rory and Lorelai have an amazing dynamic, Rory has some stable friendships, etc).

although whenever I would see that name I would think of the character

when I went to Yosemite this past weekend I saw a sign near my cabin that said Gilmore on it but it was spelled differently like Gilmour

I was just watching a vid on the new Harry Potter ride coming to Universal Studios in Orlando this summer and the ride designer’s name is Alan Gilmore.

I asked our trainer if he was familiar with GG and he was and gets that all the time.
