And a good thing is if you capture the flv files then VLC will play them, even on a Mac.

ETA - just a small GG mention, 5th most bought DVD.

I just checked out the local (Australian) GG box set and it appears from the back of the box (that is cardboard and not a nice one like in the US) it appears all they did was take the separate season and put them in the box with the new booklet. So no new local packaging or fancy flip out books for the DVDs. This really pisses me off, I wish they would just release the final season in a special pack without the 1-6 then you can put what you all ready have bought into the box!

Observation - in 2.09 "Run Away, Little Boy" when Lorelai enters the house in the teaser and sees Sookie and Rory the videos in her hands changes position between takes

BTW - I ask again has anyone in Australia bought the BOX SET, if so details please

The problem I have is the box sets have changed over the season, 1&2 are a bit bigger than S3 from Amazon, S4 I got locally is different again as is S5&6. So I'd have to get S1-4 again to make them fit

As I said here we get a cheap cardboard box and the SAME individual season so no new packaging apart from the added booklets, not that I liked the "girlie" look of the box set.

I hate how they change the season set boxes like with SG-1 they were in 5 DVD cases and now all 6 DVDs for the season are in ONE DVD case 1/5th the original size!

I also think it's annoying that S1+2 are bigger than the rest. With S2 I have a big box, but a smaller DVD-set so it doesn't even fit, since the box is too big. Doesn't look right at all.

I was thinking of getting S1-4 again and selling the ones I have so they are all the same and take up less space but it's almost cheaper to just get the boxset in Amazon with the better case and new design DVDs, not that I like their look!

I was talking about the DVD boxset before, well they have just released a Harry Potter collectors tin with the first 5 movies plus room for 6 & 7, this is what they should have done for Gilmore!
