I am glad there was not a bad thing about Logan in that review. I agree that the storyline with the townies and Rory's graduation was rediculous they were not at her Chilton graduation. I am glad to see a critic agree with me on that.

There's a few contradictions in that blog review. But he nailed the overdone Rory-worship. And I also have to agree with:

Yeah I loved that!

Someone else realizing how much of a soap it became, IMO that started with Rory and Lorelai not talking and April showing up. "Days of our Gilmore's"

Well the soap opera aspect entered the show the minute April showed up. I don't get why they still blame DR for ruining the show when Amy put it six feet under in the first place

He didn't make it any better that's for sure but he at least tried here and there. No one can say that about The Palladinos. They just up and left.

I do agree that S7 did give a better understanding as to why Luke did some of the stuff in S6 and IMO Lorelai saw this as well, just a pity it was after she screwed up!

hey guys, is the dvd collection worth it ? I am still thinking about buying it, but unless there are different extras on it than on the regular season box sets I guess I'll save that money...

I think it's just a collection of the disks from the seven seasons. Nothing new on them.

Yeah, if I remember right, it's what Caf said. Someone posted info about it on the last thread or this thread. So nothing new on the discs. The only new thing was the Gilmoreism book I think... yippie!

All in all: Nothing new on the DVDs re extras. I don't think the Gilmoreism book & the episode guide would be worth getting the whole set.

Well some of the former books were only available on line. I think they started that with season 5

The Gilmore-isms were in PDF format for 2-5 online.
