I didn't have to leave the house which was nice. Had my dad and in laws over for lunch while the kids went to their partners houses, then we had everyone over for dinner. I did all of the cooking Xmas eve so I could relax Xmas day.
It was a perfect Aussie summers day and we pretty much ate, lazed around the pool, and cranked out Christmas carols from the hubby's new google home speaker thingy. Hope you are all enjoying your Christmas.  __________________

Looks like everyone had a lovely holiday. My Christmas was crazy busy with church music stuff all night long so I used Christmas Day to recuperate.

yeah I'm not really the going out to celebrate type when it comes to NYE but I would love to freeze my face off at least once watching the ball drop in person in Times Square someday (definitely a bucket list item)

No plans for me. I will watch the Sydney fireworks on the tv struggle to make it to midnight and be in bed by 12.05.

I stay up pretty late on NYE usually at least until 2 AM

No plans for me. We'll probably close the windows (against the sound, especially for the cats) and watch some Gilmore Girls, which we always do to end the year with.

No plans for NYE, just staying home and watch the ball drop on one of the stations and maybe have pizza or some type of snacks.
I like the thought of going to the beach but surely can't do that here. |
