Jos and I went to Dutch Comic Con yesterday. We had a great time, but we had such a great time that we wished we would have gotten tickets for both weekend days; now we only had the Sunday. Way too much to see/do for one day.

We were quite early (8.30 am), while the event started at 10am. Because of that we were in front of the entrance queue, but the line behind us was endless. I had booked two photo booth tickets for certain special guests; both were quite long aswell. Waiting time of a hour. Getting an autograph from certain special guests? They would start signing at (for example) 12.00am, but the queue was already starting at 11.00am. Sick

I went for a photo with Lana Parilla and Rebecca Mader (both from ''Once Upon a Time''). It was clear they were the most popular guests. Jos managed to get an autograph from Lana Parilla (while I was making a photo) - we wanted to get it together, but the first autograph slot was too busy, after we had just waited 1 hour for it Thankfully Jos managed to get it (on the third season blu-ray of Once Upon a Time). After that we got autographs from Rebecca Mader (on season 4 of Once), Daniel Gillies (on S2 of Vampire Diaries - we don't have the Original dvd's)(from the Vampire Diaries/The Originals - he played Elijah), and Jerome Flynn, who plays Bronn on Game of Thrones (on the season 5 blu-ray of GoT).

All guests were perfectly nice! Lana Parilla felt more distant throughout the day, but her lines were also the busiest, so I bet that was tiresome She was the only one who just wrote an autograph (within 15 seconds, or so - so at least Jos and I had a little conversation with her) and not a personal message, but again: her line was the busiest. I heard many people failed to get an autograph at all, so we already feel blessed we managed to get one. She was really nice during the signing though. Thanked us for watching the show and for supporting her. The other three all wrote a personal message. They didn't do that for everyone, so that was lucky. Also managed to talk with them for a minute, or so. Even more with Jerome Flynn; I was the only one in line He told me the end of GoT was really hard for him to film, but that it's even harder to keep it all a secret untill it airs. Also told me he loved to work with Peter Dinklage and Emilia Clarke in particular (who play Tyrion & Daenerys on the show).

Also attended some of the Q&A's. Didn't get to ask any questions, the question line was way too long. We couldn't even sit during the Once Q&A. Still enjoyed it though! Daniel Gillies was the most funny guy You could see he really enjoyed to be there.

There was also a lot of Star Wars stuff (live R2D2's and BB8's), and tons of people in amazing costumes. We had to skip a lot just to get all of the autographs and photos, so we'll make it two days next time we go.

@Lindsay: I gave you (and fan forum) a shootout when we were talking to Rebecca Mader (Zelena). Told her you loved the show aswell and that we often talked about it on here. She told me she had never heard about the site before, but would maybe check it out one day. She loves to read fan reactions. Had to say hi to you from her!

I went to the Rhode Island comic con earlier this month. It was cool!!! People from Firefly were there.

We also have a Gilmore Girls tribute in CT where some of the cast come and get together for the weekend. It's really cool, and wanna go next year.

Everyone's Thanksgivings sound lovely! I spent mine in bed sick. It was still nice, though. My mom cooked up a huge meal and she had a friend who was alone for the holiday over.

We just finished decorating our Christmas tree. Man, I can't believe the Christmas season is already in full swing! I need to start thinking about gifts and things, time is running out.

I'm getting really excited about meeting up with y'all in London! Ingmar, feel free to bring Jos, I'd love to meet him.

It would be nice to meet Anja and you! London is always a nice destination to visit, so you will like it for sure! Jos is curious to meet you two aswell; it's not like I never mention the GG board members/moderators

Not really sattisfied with the Lana Parilla picture, because of the glare in my glasses. Downside of wearing glasses. Plus it was the first photo of the day, so I was still a bit nervous; didn't know what to expect, so I look kinda nervous And I got a cramp in my foot just when the photo was being taken. Perfect timing, ha. Happy with the other picture though!

Those are fabulous pix, Ingmar, despite the glare! I love Lana's expression there. I hate that those photos are a millisecond long, you hardly get to interact with the person at all. I much prefer the autograph table where you can actually speak words to them.

Yeah, same. I think we had like 20 seconds. She asked me how I was doing and thanked me for the support when I walked away, but you had a lot more time at the autograph table. I'll probably skip the photos all together next time; instead focussing on autographs; worth a bit more to me (plus the reason you mentioned: more time to actually interact). I loved that I had like 3-4 minutes to talk with Jerome Flynn (Bronn, GoT). I was the only one in line, so that helped aswell.

Ingmar, those are great pics.

The only decoration I have up so far is the wreath on the front door and that is only because I just bought a new one. Mark is going to pull our decorations out this weekend and we'll go through them to see what we are going to put up. I wish we were able to put up our outside lights yesterday because it was 40 degrees and sunny but we were busy all day. The next several days are going to be really rainy. I am hoping it doesn't turn to snow because if it does we'll be snowed in. I really hate snow anymore.

YAY!!!! I am done with radiation!!!!!!!!
