I made an album on Facebook with more pictures if you're interested..
We've been to two musicals, Matilda and Aladdin, both really good, absolutely loved them.
We did the Harry Potter Studio Tour, heaven for a Potterhead like me.. We also went to Kings Cross station, where Platform 9 and three Quarters is located. It was September 1st, and fans know that it was the "19 years later" exactly on that day. So it was packed with fans, all counting down to 11am, when the Hogwarts express is leaving.
Other than that we just walked around, went to Harrods and Covent Garden.

Great trip, saw all of the photos. Great timing that you were at Kings Cross on that day. I did the studio tour too a few years ago, it was a blast.

Sounds like a great trip! I'll have to check out Facebook. And that's cool that you went to Kings Cross on that day. I'm guessing you planned for that or was it a coincidence?

We didn't really plan on stopping by at Kings Cross, as they also had Platform 9 and three Quarters at the Studio tour, but we had to change Underground trains on that station on our way to Covent Garden, so we thought that as we were there anyway, we could go and have a look.. Didn't realize it would be so packed with fans though..

Hey there, everyone! I'm back from vacay. Man, I was so totally exhausted this weekend after getting back, I pretty much slept all day long in between loads of laundry. We had so much fun! I really hated to leave but I honestly don't think I could've gone a day more. It was crazy, there was hardly anyone in the parks the week we went! I don't know if the heat wave was to blame or the fact that kids were back in school? Anyhow, we pretty much walked on every single ride it was insane!

We are flying on Saturday. Kinda scary thought though: There's a hurricane coming for the US again, named IRMA. Highest category. They expect it to hit Florida this weekend and while that's still pretty far away from NYC the prospects are that the storm will head that way as soon as it hits land, so we're really watching the weather news carefully. Really hoping that it won't hit NYC too much (or Florida for that matter..), since we already had to cancel Berlin a few months ago. Fingers crossed for people there mainly.

Let's hope Irma stays away from Florida and the rest of the US, it's bad enough that the Carribean Islands have to deal with it now..

From this Saturday untill the one after that, so 7 days. They assume NYC will only get some rain mid next-week, hope it's only that. Hope the rest of the States are somehow spared..but considering the first images of the damage (on the Caribean islands)....

Thanks for the welcome back! It's good to be home again even though I did have such a great time in Cali. SO many people were complaining about the heat and I'm just sitting here thinking this is an average summer day in Texas.

You shouldn't have too many issues with Irma as it'll hit either the coast of Florida or Georgia and the Carolinas. It'll be rainy but not too bad in NYC.

Ugh. My family is still reeling from Hurricane Harvey. One of my mom's aunts had to be rescued as her house was filling with water. My other aunt and uncle in Houston couldn't leave their house as their entire neighborhood was surrounded by water! They're all okay but this recovery will take months barring any other future potential disasters.
