Hmmm... What I did was PM only those on the Finnatics Appreciation list. And, I was the only one that did the PM'ing - I would have divided the list up but it was late last night...

I agree that people should make sure that they don't multiple PM. I would get annoyed also!

I think the way you did it was fine. If they like the actor and are on an appreciation list then I don't see a problem. I got annoyed not only by the amount of times I was PMed but because I never even went into a Dan appreciation thread. The only reason I was PMed at all is because I visit the HP board.
