I basically told the artist that Paris was the picture of beauty, Rory looked cute too, and I really liked the porch, the dress, and the hairstyles. The TV writers really didn't develop Paris enough after Season 4 IMO. I wish they'd shown this side of her a bit more.

Thanks, T. I wonder what they're talking about. I just hope it's not boys or the newspaper. Maybe Paris' family. Or her medical ambitions. Or something between Rory and Lorelai. This is the type of scene I wanted to see more of.

Yeah, it would've been nice seeing more in depth conversations between those two. A lot of it was played for humor, enjoyably might I add, but I get what you're saying.

I found it enjoyable in the first four seasons. After that, I thought the writers just got lazy with Paris. I had the benefit of skipping to her scenes on DVD, so I was able to focus on what they were doing with her character. I probably covered this in depth on a Paris thread, so I won't get into it here. A Year in the Life had the kind of Paris material that I wanted to see in almost every episode -- a good balance between comedy and drama.

Anyway, this art was just meant to show a more serious, romantic, down-to-earth side of the character. Rory wasn't even going to be included at first, but it felt nice to honor their friendship.
