Very good points in that article, and this was the moment that ASP revealed Jess's fate when he says ' I'm not goung to sit around and wait for her to notice me'

Oh but you will Jess. Very clever the way they build these relationships.

I also really appreciate the way Jess sees Lorelai taking advantage of Luke's goodness and he is the only character to express it.
