| Okay, I wanted to make a post with pictures marking where Luke and Lorelai have been in their relationship at this point in every season. So, where they were about 1/3 into each season: Let's take a walk down memory lane, shall we? Season 1: At this point in season 1, Luke was secretly pining for Lorelai, but she was with Max! Oh no!  (The look that made JavaJunkies around the world go "Awwww!!!") Season 2: At this point in season 2, Luke and Lorelai have established a friendship. Lorelai tells Luke that he is a stable part of her life.  Season 3: At around this point in season 3, Luke and Lorelai have shared another "moment", where they talk about having kids.  Season 4: At this time in season 4, Luke is back with Nicole (!), and Lorelai is beginning a relationship with Jason (!). They seem so far away from a relationship! JJs are in an outrage! LOL  Season 5: JJs rejoice around the world!!!! Luke and Lorelai are in a loving relationship, and have had MMS many many times (we assume!).  Ahhhhhh... How far they .. and WE! .. have come!!!!
