She wasn't stupid, she knew the relationship Lorelai and Luke had, and yet she still was polite and remained friends with Lorelai. | I also miss Rachel. She knew what was happening and had the good sense to leave. Oh wow. I can't believe that Luke said, "Double dippin', you dog." that was hilarious. So far so good. | Did anyone else squeal when Luke was helping that old lady off the curb so she could cross the street? HOw cute is that! I also loved loved LOVED Luke staring out the window at Lorelai and Jason in the car. You could see the realization/jealousy slowly dawning on his face. Poor Luke. When he was ranting to Lorelai about messed up families, you could totally tell that she was sympathizing with him. She knows exactly where he's coming from, and she actually showed genuine concern for him during that scene. Hopefully we'll see Lorelai be more sympathetic and selfless in upcoming eps. ANd also, we now know that Lorelai has mentioned Luke to Jason, apparently she's "always talking about him." Nice little parallel there. Actually it's not a little parallel at all. Loved the irony of Digger calling Luke "Duke." Oh yeah, and Luke would never talk on a cell phone instead of spending time with Lorelai! I'll write more of my observations tomorrow because I have senioritis really bad. I also hate applying for college. Before I go, can I just say that NEXT WEEK looks SO good!!! Like flat out Season 1 flirting. I paused the TV on Lorelai's face as Luke was telling her that she's all dressed up. Her response was my favorite: "Just for you." WOW. Can't WAIT for next Tuesday. | This week was....ok but next week looks a whole lot better(from what I saw)! I am glad we had a LL moment or two in this epi. From what I saw of the promo it looks very angsty(sp?) and even though I said I want to see Jess's reaction to Luke being married I have a feeling he already knows, which spoils my fun, but I do want to see his convorsation with Loreili OK question! Anyone know where I could download the promo for next weeks epi? I could't really pay attention becasue my dad was asking how to print something on the computer, I was straightning my hair and the dog was barking at the wind outside lol so I'm missing a lot of what peole are talking about for next week! | Is the WB majorily teasing us with next week's promo? Are Luke and Lorelai openly flirting with each other? hmmm... I want to see where the writers are taking this. I liked this episode, despite the annoying appearance of Jess. Someone needs to tell that boy he's 19 years old.. grow up and quit whining like you're 12 and get that junk off the street! You couldn't afford a $30 room at a cheap motel? Who's the pathetic loser here? I was hoping Luke would have hit him or run him over when he had the chance! The teaser was funny. I love Lorelai and Kirk. I love how Lorelai and Luke love to tease him.. in a good way. "Double dippin', you dog" How funny is it that Jason is afraid of 'Duke'! At first, I used to think Jason might have the upperhand.. already having Lorelai, being rich, cocky, arrogant and knowing what to say to bring people down.. but now [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] Go Luke! Lorelai really didn't want Jason to meet Luke.. he knows about Luke, the diner, but she doesn't want him to know Luke, the person. Interesting. Rory is right, Luke does have issues with Lorelia's guys. But Luke already knows about Jason now.. that look he had when he saw him and Lorelai in the jeep.. I can't wait to see it brought up next week! I love how sympathetic Lorelai was to Luke at the end. Whoever said Lorelai was his confidant and vice versa is so right. I doubt Luke told Nicole anything that's going on and I can see Lorelai being more comfortable going to Luke talking about her money problems and not to Jason. Oh, Liz! I'm so happy to meet Luke's sister. She's crazy, as in flaky and irresponsible. But she seems to really love her brother and wants him to be happy. I get the feeling that she doesn't know Luke is married. Do we see a fight here? I don't have any siblings, but I'd think one would be mad if not told that another sibling has gotten married. I want Liz to meet Lorelai. I want Liz to read into Luke's relationship with Lorelai like an open book! Liz's blond hair doesn't bother me, it could be dyed.. and it's totally possible that it's real. I liked seeing a little more into Luke's past.. making out with Crazy Carrie. So, Liz is 38 years.. class of 1984 and 20 year high school reunion. I'm thinking Luke is 36 or 37. From Liz's demeanor, I'm thinking she's the older one. Oh, we saw their dad's old garage.. I thought that was cool.. wonder if the old house is still around. The pot cracked me up! Jason was alright. He needs to get off the phone! What is with these passionless kisses? I love Lane! Rory needs to eat her words.. she treated Dean way worse than Paris treated Jaime. At least Paris broke up with Jaime quickly.. rudely, but quikly. And Rory, don't point out the obvious when your mother is having money problems. Rude. Lorelai knows about the problems, she doesn't need you to paint a neon sign for her. Emily cracking up at Lorelai about the thought of dating Jason. [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] Next week.. Then we see the car parked outside Lorelai’s and it’s Jason! And then Jason being a sissy about not wanting to confront Luke.
