| NEW THREAD!!!!!!!!!  YAY!!!!!!!!!!!shoegal- I love your opening post!!!!!!!  You did an AMAZING job. The banner is DAZZLING!!!!!!!! Your soundtrack list is a brilliant inclusion. I have 38 songs to add. I burnt my 2nd BB CD last night!!!!!!!!   Here are the first 19 that are on my 1st CD. I incuuded alittle explanation about each one. 1. “Drops of Jupiter.- by Train” I feel this song is from Chris’ perspective. He’s been waiting since he was 16 to be with Lor. And also, Lor’s desire to go find herself. But then of course coming back to her love in the end, and him never giving up on her. 2. “I Try.”- by Macy Gray Lor wanting to be with Chris and aching for him to be around more, also her pain every time he leave. As well the feeling she feel of being chained by her love for him. 3. “Unchained Melody.- by The Ritchous Brothers ” Chris’ pain about not being with Lor, and wanting her so much. Also his not knowing where she really stands on the whole thing of them getting back together. (I guess this song works best in context around the time of “Christopher Returns.”) 4. “The Way You Look Tonight.”- by Frank Sinatra Well duh, I think we all know where this song comes from. 5. “Need to be Next to You.”- by Leigh Nash The Chris/Lor song!!!! Of coarse playing over the trailer for “Christopher Returns.” 6. “Against All Odds”.- by Phil Collins I know it’s a guy singing it, but it really works IMO for Lor at the end of ICGS. 7. “Every Road”.- by Bette Midler No matter what they have been through over the years, Lorelai keeps coming back to the comfort of wanting Chris. 8. “You Do Something To Me”.- by Sinead O’Connor It really works nicely in conjunction with the line ‘He smiles and it’s just Christopher’. She is always under his spell somehow. 9. “You’ve Got A Friend”.- by Carole King They do keep bobbing up for each other. Plus, it’s a Carole King song. 10. “Searching My Soul”.- by Vonda Shepard Lorelai realising one day that she has to wake up to the fact that Chris is the one and she shouldn’t run anymore from her destiny or her feelings. 11. “Head Over Feet”.- by Alanis Morrisette I know both Chris and Lor hate Alanis, that’s what makes this kinda funny. But this song really does say a lot about them. Chris waiting around for Lor to be ready to accept him back; Lorelai giving him deserved praise for being him. 12. “True”.- by Spandau Ballet This was, of course, playing over the phone conversation in RLOTWN 13. “Where You Lead”.- by Carole King The Gilmore Girls theme, obviously. But, on some level, it works for C & L too. 14. “I Love You For Sentimental Reasons”.- by Linda Ronstadt I think the title says it all. 15. “Open Arms”.- by Journey Chris thanking his lucky stars on the night Lor eventually comes back to him for good, and telling her how lonely it’s been, and to please trust how much he loves her. I can dream, right? Hee. 16. “Every time We Say Goodbye”.- by Annie Lennox Lor’s pain every time she and Chris are separated. 17. “They Can’t Take That Away From Me”.- by Lisa Stansfield Even if they are apart there love will be remembered and in there hearts.The memories will remain. 18. “Someday Out Of The Blue”.- by Elton John Chris never giving up the hope that he and Lor will be reunited. 19. “A Thousand Miles”.- by Vanessa Carlton This song does speak volumes for the C & L separation, and how they’re always in each other’s heads and hearts. | I couldn't resist - I looked at the spoilers. And, I must say, I think this enterance will be interesting.
