Rory liked to read while bathing. Water was soothing on her back. Lorelai couldn’t figure out why she enjoyed reading when wet. It started to change when she stopped seeing her therapist. Rory began to see how she could walk while she reads. Later, Lorelai visited with Babette and Patty so they could see what happened to Rory. Rory cried when she realized that everyone had told her except Lorelai. How could she not see that everything was so wrong? She found out Rory had discovered the news. Everything changed after Rory found Lorelai at Luke’s drinking coffee. Rory sat around while Lorelai started cleaning up after herself. They started to talk about trying to decide whether or not to cancel the festivities because of the malfunctioning speaker. Lorelai laughed at the way the town would not get jokes. Rory couldn't get anyone to listen to what she had to say about the movie. As they moved towards the gazebo, Taylor stopped to take a beat and realize that Lorelai had spent all her time talking. Lorelai wanted to stop taking time out of her day to nap. The first time it will matter will be when everyone admits they had fun. It was going to continue to motivate them to find peace. They laughed at the way Taylor responded by yelling. Rory had to help move boxes so everyone could get a job. All of their time was spent on carrying cans from Doose's to Luke’s and they didn't stop until all were inside and counted.
