I am disappointed in him. I feel like he gave up too easily, but I guess, this is a good set-up for Jordan to either fight back on his own, or for John Henry to be the one to save Jordan.



I loved how John's hammer knocked out Leslie and he managed to save Lois this time! That whole sequence was awesome.

yeah he is Tal-Rho / Morgan Edge father. the old man that was the hologram in the cave before. he somehow got resurrected into Jordan's body.

I think Zeta-Rho handpicked Jordan of all people because other than Clark, he's the only one whose body is already Kryptonian with exhibiting his abilities. Clark's proven to be able to resist so they won't try to draw from that well twice.

How so?

He has super speed, he can combine that with his telescopic vision and x-ray vision to look for Jordan in seconds while also doing a fly over the entire globe several times over and he has super hearing which we saw him use and he doesn't need to see in order to hear all across from the other side of the globe. I think they were focusing more on showing his panic as a father as opposed to super speeding through the actual search which won't carry as much emotional weight if all we see is him zipping back and forth. Clark's problem is that he can't see or hear through lead and the Eradicator had taken Jordan to the nuclear reactor from the first episode. The walls lined with lead and being underground hampered Clark's ability to detect him. I don't believe he gave up too easily or too soon, knowing what would happen to Jordan after what happened to him a few episode ago.

Yeah, I think we have to take Clark at his word that he checked everywhere, even if we didn't literally see that. It's his son - of course he looked everywhere. And he'll keep looking. He won't give up, we know that. And for however short that moment was of Clark listening to try and find Jordan, I was struck by the fact that not only was Clark panicking and desperate to hear his son, but also by the fact that he must have been confronted by a million people's cries for help and he had to ignore every one of them because all he wanted to hear was some sign of where to go and find Jordan. That's just so heart wrenching to imagine.

I'm sure he checked, but also, he was traumatised over it. Where else would he go with that than Lois' arms as soon as possible? They share the same emotions on the matter. when he displays his vulnerability, it's part of his humanity.
