My hubby and I just finished watching the pilot. It was really good. I like the nods to Richard Donnor, and the creators of Superman. I totally caught how his first costume was also a nod to the Fleischer cartoon. That costume was right out of that.

I also feel like the villain Superman encounters might be an alternate Lex Luther. I also remember Lex Luther from the 90s animated series, the way he was portrayed on-screen, he clearly was not a white guy.

I was amazed by the acting, and the writing. Arrowverse shows are not supposed to be this good!

I quite enjoyed it, poor clark losing both his parents
great to see a different version of superman like having a family and children
im glad Jordan has the powers, has a soft spot for me has soon as they mention anxiety, love the sibling bond and cant wait to see whats next

It was really nicely done. The writers could have gone overboard with the references, but they were subtly enough, unless you're a die hard fan, you might miss them.
