I really like this twist. It is a bit weird though that no one told Clark that he has a brother!

There's something fishy about this brother to be honest. I've seen it pointed out that when Tal called himself "brother...friend...kryptonian" Jor-El quickly said to Clark not to believe him because he was none of that. Maybe Tal did exist but died ypung and Lara absolved her likely abusive marriage and met Jor-El. Zata could have cloned her son without her knowledge, which could explain why she never mentioned him to Clark and Jor-El followed suit.

That is an interesting theory! It does bother me a lot that Clark wasn't told about him, but that would make a lot of sense. I am sure there is something shady about him.
