They're both overkill. The dress has a bold color and print, a simple bag in a neutral color would work best. Personally, I would carry a clutch made out of wicker or something like this:

Today was a really exciting and out of the blue day for me. My mom surprised me and said that I could have my Graduate school Graduation gift eary being she said I am going to a lot of weddings and engagement parties that I might want to wear it at. So we went to the Louis Vuitton store and I got to get the clutch black epi leather bag that I always wanted. It was so exciting and so out of the blue. It was so sweet of my Mom!
Ok you know me I am not into desinger things and I am not really material to me a gift from the heart means the word to me and I really don't ask for a lot of things. But ever since the Boston Film Festival last September I fell in love with the black bag that Shiri had not because she had it but because it was actually the first Louis Vuitton bag that I actually liked! So I started saving up for it. Then my mom said how she knew I had been saving up for it and was going to give it to me in May for my graduation gift for getting my masters but she thought I could get more use out of it being I am going to a few of my friends weddings this year. I love my bag! The only difference between me and Shiri bag is that her's had a gold clasp and gold zipper and I have it in silver. I asked if they had it in gold but the sales lady told me they had discontinued it in gold about a month ago. They said that now they only make it in silver. So Kristen just like Shiri your Louie bags with the gold are now one of a kind. But I personally love the clasp and zipper in the silver. It is more me. Here is the bag that I now own! Wow thats so weird and exciting to say!  So my the big graduation gift are my trip to California in October for the BAT and the Louis Vuitton bag and you know what that is fine with me and more then I could ever ask for. A trip to see good friends and a special bag that I will treasure forever is more then I could ask for. It was so sweet of my Mom and Dad.  So that was my big exciting news for today!
