Hey Mir!!! That concert was awesome! Here's a little sumary of it...

So, I thought I would go ahead and post here what I posted over at the Gomez thread! Just for some background....Tom was the guy with long hair and glasses, Ian was the cute guitarist on Ben's right, Dajon was the extra percussionist and keyboardist, Olly was the drummer and Paul is the bassist!

OMG!!! [img]smilies/blinkie.gif[/img] [img]smilies/blinkie.gif[/img] [img]smilies/blinkie.gif[/img] [img]smilies/blinkie.gif[/img] [img]smilies/blinkie.gif[/img] [img]smilies/blinkie.gif[/img] [img]smilies/blinkie.gif[/img] I MET GOMEZ!!!! [img]smilies/hotpinkie.gif[/img] They are so sweet and so nice! i got all their autographs execpt the bassist, Paul now that I think about it! Let me tell you my night!!! I got to the club at 6pm and the doors weren't opening to 7:30pm, so I was freezing my ass off! When they finally let us in, I was the first one in line so I got to be right in front and center! I was under Ben's mic the whole night! [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] The opener Rachel Yamagata, wasn't bad at all! I would compare her to like Fiona Apple! She would talk with the crowd, telling us the story behind each song. I loved and had a running commentary with her! She was laughing hysterically when I asked her if she kicked her ex b/f's ass when he cheated on her and she was like yeah! [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] But, I am definitely going to buy her cd! It also turns out she is from Northern Virginia, where I grew up in, well actually two towns over but her famiy and a lot of her friends were there! So when she was done, I was totally pumped! I was dying for the guys to finish setting up so that I could see them play! When they came out, I went crazy! I was screaming at the top of my lungs! They were awesome! I loved their songs and their new stuff is more rockier than the other cds! Ian was so cute and Tom was boucing around working the crowd! I was going crazy! I was singing along to the songs I remembered well enough and dancing my ass off! [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] We got four songs in our encore and they played my song, We Haven't Turned Around! i got all teary eyed! It was great! [img]smilies/blinkie.gif[/img] After the show ended, one of the guys on the crew were ripping up the set list and I got one of the guys to give me one!! Some girl tried to rip it out of my hands but I was like...oh hell no, biatch! Back OFF!!! So, then I went to go meet up with my friends who had decided to sit at the bar upstairs. They were like, you look you were having so much fun! [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] I did!!! Two of my friends had to go, but I refused to leave because I was like, I am meeting the band no matter what! I know where the bus is, I'll sit outside until they leave if they have to! [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] My other friend, her husband and I went to the bar at that was in the basement. We were sitting drinking and talking. At 1am, I was thinking that I should leave, I mean I have to be at work at 9am! [img]smilies/eek.gif[/img] But the next thing you know, in comes Ben! I was like, screw it, I'll be late to work! I immediatley grabbed his attention and Dajon's who came over and sat down. They both signed my cd cover and took pics with me! [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] Then Dajon got into this whole conversation with my friend while I sat there with Ben! i asked how they were enjoying the tour so far and how did they like the crowd tonight. He said it was great! He loves to play in DC!!! I asked why they didn't play Tijuana Lady and he started laughing saying, I knew that was you screaming that out in front of me! [img]smilies/blush.gif[/img] The next thing I know, Ben is telling me that Berlin is so awesome and that I should really go there sometime and then the differences in accents in different parts of England! The whole time we talked, the other guys came in but I knew they weren't going anywhere so I'd grab them later! But after awhile, I saw Tom start heading towards the stairs but I stopped him! He came over, had a teqila shot with Dajon and start talking to us! He grabbed my set list and next to DC he wrote AC/! [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] He signed my cd cover and then he took a ic with me! He also has a new quote and you hear it first..."I hate dogs but I love fetch"! What a nut case and to be funnier, he grabbed the lime slices, put them on the edge and said...Look the Lochness Montser!" He used his finger as the head and neck! [img]smilies/rotfl.gif[/img] The camera man had to take a pic of it!! Then some drunk biatch got his attention and the next thing i know they were talking American politics! But thankfully, Dajon came back and we talked. I wanted to talk to Ian because he was such cutie, I mean DAMN!!! But I kinda didn't want to bug but Dajon was like, just go talk to him becasuse he was drunk! So I went over there and he was just so cute! He signed my cd cover and wrote David Crosby on it as well because he thought Tom looked like David Crosby! [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] I loved him, he was so drunk he was swaying, but he kept hugging me but the bouncers were beginning to thorw us out so I gave him like 10 kisses and I was like, I'll see you in LA!! And he was like GOOD! So I went to get my stuff but I ended up sitting back down with Dajon and talking! But then the bouncers came and were like we have to escort you out! So I kissed all the guys good bye and left! It was a great night and I didn't get home till 3am!!! I loved it!!and I love them!!!
