Now that you mention it, I can see some similarities between Michael and Damon, though Damons a bit more evil compared to Michael who is just detached and tough, hes not evil, might get a bit mean sometimes but other than that, the whole wanting to stay away from the humans in order to keep true to who they are, being a softie at heart, theres definately something there

Besides the whole evil and killing thing there is similarities. They both put up this tough guy facade so that people won't see the real them which deep down is a really great guy who cares a lot about the people around them. And they both have someone that breaks down that wall for them, Damon has Elena and Michael has Maria.

I do love Damon I just think physically speaking Stefan is hotter than Damon, like I also think Max is hotter than Michael

I can think of reasons not to love Damon. There are some similiarites for him and Michael but not everything. Michael isn't evil and wouldn't kill people just because and that's where they are different.

True he isnt evil and thats what makes him better than Damon in my opinion, because no matter how you look at it, Damons a killer, he might be on the road to redemption but that doesnt change who he is and who he has been, Michaels just a normal tough 16 year old, he might shut people off, but hes a sweatheart
